~Anna's P.O.V~
It's been months since the failed coup and things hasn't been fine. Or at least that's what I know so far. I don't know as much as I was before now that I got fired for almost blowing the head of that bastard off. Well, I did say it myself that I'm a traitor from the second I pulled out my gun and for some reason... I'm happy with that.

Since then, I've been spending my time around the manor with Magda and the girls. I had to cut my hair short and wear glasses to disguise myself to avoid being caught when I'm doing errands with the girls. Basically, I'm in hiding and I feel bad for troubling Dr. Goebbels this much.

Speaking of Dr. Goebbels, he sometimes brought back copies of reports of the party. Usually the reports of the camps that I should be working on. I do miss my old job and the privileges but I don't have them anymore. I can't show my face to the ladies again especially Margarete. She would be very disappointed in me if she finds out that I almost killed her husband.

The reports Dr. Goebbels brought back gave me some idea on how the war is going. I know that he can't give me full clearance and that sucks. The first few weeks after I got fired, I received letters from doctor Mengele. He asked why I didn't reply back and asked if I'm alright. I replied back and I had to lie that I got discharged for breaking too many rules and there was another letter from him talking about Luke.

Doctor Mengele told me that Luke and his crews' ship boarded was attacked and surrendered to the British Navy. I broke down again when I read the news. I begged Dr. Goebbels to give me the last transmission from Luke's ship and doctor Mengele was right. My brother was captured and I don't know if he's still alive or not. Everyone is slowly disappearing.

(About a week after Hitler's birthday)

The Führer just celebrated his 56th birthday and I don't think he has the time to throw a party especially the on-going war and his inner circle is shrinking. All I know that Deputy Hess tried to negotiate with the Scottish embassy but his plane crashed and the Führer deemed Deputy Hess as insane and banished him from the party. Deputy Hess is either on the run or captured by the Allies right now.

And as for Reichsmarschall Göring, he was executed for taking over the position before the news was confirmed or not. I think Reichsmarschall Göring was too excited to take the seat but in the end, he got of his stupid decision. That first part really reminded me of something. While I already know the Reichsführer is a traitor and it turns out that I'm not wrong at all!

He was found out to negotiate with Britain. He knew that Germany isn't going to survive the war and he knew that someone has to control the Reich. So, what the Reichsführer did was secretly meeting the British ambassador and tried to reach an exchange agreement. he knew that if he spill all of the darkest and the dirtiest secrets of the Führer and his inner circle also other higher-ups... he thought the British would take the information into consideration and hopefully gave him the authority to take control. But he didn't and he's on the run too.

At least Dr. Goebbels is still safe though I've seen his concerns towards the Führer's objectives but Dr. Goebbels is the best Minister of Propaganda I know. He can always find a way out of this. I think I've been looking up to the wrong person when it comes about loyalty. I tried to enjoy my activities around the manor as much as I can and so were Magda and the girls.

"Miss Freitag..." one of the girls called me. "Yes?". "Father would like to see you." Dr. Goebbels summons me? I asked what Dr. Goebbels wanted and she just told me to go to his office. "Alright." I stood up and went to the office. "Dr. Goebbels?" I knocked the door. "Come in." he replied from inside and I went in. The Reichsminister was behind his desk and Hermann was in the office too. "Hermann? What are you doing here?" I half mouthed a question.
