Mary smiled as she was certainly determined to achieve her new goal on getting a stable life.
She felt a present behind her and turned around to found nothing...
'Maybe it was just my feeling, gotta hurry before it was too late.' Mary thought as she quickly prepared herself for the day.
Unknownly for her, a certain black cat was watching her from a far and vanished into thin air.
Present... (in a restaurant)
" Wait for a moment at that table and let me see if we got any place for you..." A lady in red dress said as she rose up from her seat and walked into a room that seems to belong to their boss.
Mary take a seat at the table that the lady gestured earlier with such ease as a waiter comes to her to pick an order.
"May I take your order please?" The waiter asks her with a good manner.
" One cup of green tea, please. no sugar nor cream nor milk." Mary reply without hesitation and send the waiter a small smile.
The waiter nods as he writes down on his notepad. "Do you want any dishes or desserts, my lady?" The waiter asks her again as he wait for the answer.
" One slice of cheesecake, please. " Mary state the offer politely as he nods once again as he continues write those orders on his notepad.
" Do you wish for anything else?" The waiter ask her while returning the smile he received earlier.
" Nothing else, thank you" Mary said as she watched a pair of couple who being lovey dovey beside her table.
"Your welcome, my lady. I will go then, please have your time here. " The waiter said as he glanced at the direction she looked to for a moment before heads off towards another customer to take their orders.
After several minutes later...
A lady in red dress finally comes back with a slip of paper in her hand.
"Thank you for waiting, miss..." the lady trailed off as she doesn't know Mary's name yet.
Mary laughed softly and introduce herself as Maria Kale as her disguise nickname.
She can't told her real name or it would be a trouble if anyone know about it. Just in case if someone know about her...
She snapped from her thoughts when the lady continues to talk.
"Well, there it is a spot for you! Won't you mind if you become a waitress since we lacked some of it?" The lady said as she take a seat in front of Mary that was now called Maria. She gives Maria the slip of paper she hold earlier.
Maria takes the paper as she read the contents of it. It was an employee paper that states every rules, working schedule and etc.
"The boss would allow you to skip your work time if something necessary happened.
For a beginner, a senior would be assigned to train you to be a perfect waitress.
As for the amount of the salary would depends on every employee self-development.
