Background

Helel was born to Viserys and Aemma. Her birth was a celebration for the whole of Westeros as she was named the heir to iron throne because everyone thought she was a boy. Growing up Helel didn't feature any male features in her body even though she had the behaviour a male. Eventually, Helel was found out to be a girl with a male lower half. Cases of people like this were reported in Yi-Ti. This led to the decrease of her claim on the iron throne.

Rhaenrya and Helel grew up together and Helel was Rhaenrya's knight in shining armour. Their feelings for each other was discovered when they were only 13 and 14. They have been sharing an intimate relationship since then. Helel is the dragon rider of Alyrys.
