Jeongguk forgot all about the treasure hunt that Taehyung had initiated in the library until the next day when he returned to a Taehyung-less school.

He was in the middle of science class when it suddenly came to his mind and from that very second, he couldn't stop bouncing his leg faster than the speed of light.

Unfortunately, science meant Dae Shin sir and Dae Shin sir meant stealing five minutes of the next period as well.

Thus, poor Jeongguk had to wait until the end of the next period to be able to sprint to the library and it drove him crazy (he drove Jeongyeon and Yoongi crazy with his leg bouncing as well).

He didn't mind skipping lunch for it. He would die if he waited for another minute, after all. He didn't even stop to bow at the librarian or at least greet him with a 'good afternoon', only stumbling to a stop after reaching the bookshelf that had the book that Taehyung had been fiddling with the previous day.

He yanked the book out of the shelf and shook it violently until the familiar piece of paper fell out of it. He put the book back in the shelf and picked the folded piece of paper up.

He couldn't imagine what such a little piece of paper could contain, but his heart thundered nonetheless. What if it was a little love letter? He barely managed to suppress a squeal as his fingers worked on opening the complicated origami fold of the paper.

His legs couldn't wait until his fingers figured out how to open the paper without tearing it. His feet tapped violently on the floor, only to come to a sudden stop when he finally managed to open it.

Did he pick the wrong book? Or the wrong piece of paper?

Because why would Taehyung leave him a paper full of crazy math calculations, right? There was one line circled up among all of the rough calculations, of something related to trigonometry.

He balled the paper up and threw it behind him blindly and took his phone out to check the book's cover once again.

"Huh?" he grunted when he realized that he did not pick the wrong book.

With his eyebrows furrowed, he shook the book again but this time, no paper fell out of it. Frowning harder, he leafed through the book violently more than half a dozen times before he realized that maybe the trigonometry paper was it for him.

He cursed at himself for throwing it away because now he couldn't find that piece of paper either.

He frantically got down to all fours and checked under the shelf for the balled-up paper. It took him almost ten minutes to find the paper ball behind one of the books in the shelf behind him.

With a sigh, he settled down on the floor with his legs crossed under him and willed himself to get some energy to look at all the calculations without bias. It took some time for him to realize that the paper was full of meaningless rough calculations and that the only part that was supposed to mean something was the circled-up part.

Jeongguk grabbed his hair and groaned. What the hell was that even supposed to mean?!

Sure, he had learned everything trigonometry-related in his textbook when he had to give that little seminar, but it had been three months since and he had sworn to himself not to touch trigonometry again until his final exams.

He groaned again. He had just asked for some love from Taehyung, what was he getting trigonometry lessons from him for?

'Ugh, the Kim Brothers,' he rolled his eyes and marched straight to Mr Kim's room.
