10k was forced to stay with the rest of the group, Daryl, Glenn and Shane went to help Sophia. They came back shortly after telling the group that Sophia was missing but Daryl and Rick stayed behind to find her.

The rest of the afternoon was spent looking through cars and moving them to the RV can have enough space to move back to get back to a bypass that was flagged on the map the group have.

Carol spent the entire time peering at the side of the highway her little girl jumped down.

Hours by past when Glenn spoke "oh my good their back", this caused everyone who was near to turn their heads at the sight of Daryl and Rick walking towards the road with no Sophia.

Carol spoke a small streak of tears falling down her eyes to her cheek, "you didn't find her?".

Rick answered her gently "her trail went cold, we'll pick it up again at first light".

Carol uttered "you can't leave my daughter out there on her own, to spend the night alone in the woods".

"Out in the dark's no good, we'd just be tripping over ourselves... More people get lost", noted Daryl in a soft tone of voice.

Carol begged dejectedly "but she's 12, she can't be out there on her own, you didn't find anything".

While speaking Lori approached her putting her arms around her to somewhat make the grieving mother, Rick said in a calming voice "I know this is hard, but I'm asking you not to panic we know she was out there".

Daryl added in uncharacteristically caring tone "and we tracked her for a while".

Rick continued speaking "we have to make this an organized effort" gesturing for the whole group to listen "Daryl knows the woods better than anybody, I've asked him to oversee this".

10k stuck out his hand which made Rick nod to him, the teenager remarked "sir, my dad taught me how to hunt, I'm a pretty good tracker, I could help".

Rick breathed in acknowledging the information, Carol intrupted the conversation with "is that blood".

Everyone's attention was drawn to fresh blood that had been smeared on Daryl's right knee.

Rick said "we took down a walker".

Carol repeated the statement being thankful and relieved of the information, silence occured as Carol sat on the railing her knees buckling under her weight for standing hours straight Lori went next to her. She took deep breathes then cried out to Rick "how could you just leave her out there to begin with, how could you just leave her".

Rick went down to Carol's level putting on knee on the ground, he reassured her "I had too, 2 walkers were chasing her, I had to draw them off, it was her best chance".

Shane verbalized "sounds like he had no choice, carol".

Carol continued to weep "how was she supposed to find her way back on her own, she's just a child, she's just a child".

By the next morning, everyone was awake by the time the sun rose, everyone wanted to help and chip in, even the injured t-dog.

Before beginning a group discussion for the search of Sophia, Dale had greeted 10k in the morning.

"So... Um 10k", Dale said in a awkward tone.

10k replied "yeah".

Dale spoke "I don't mean to offend but, me, Shane and Rick were discussing the weapon situation, and completely your choice but they and me would feel safer if you give up your guns".

10k stared at the old man "why".

"We're afraid that you might shot your gun and we all know what that leads, as I said before I don't mean to offend, I'm sure your fantastic at shooting and all that but for the sake of the group".
