Waking Up

Reina's POV

Great, now I had to spend detention with Reese. This was going to be really awkward.

I walked into Hilburg's room, it was a few minutes after school got out. She pointed to a desk and I immediately sat down in it. I had no idea what was going to happen, I never had detention with her before. Geena walked in a few minutes later, with Reese right behind her. We all got spread out so we couldn't talk to each other. Hilburg gave us a longgg lecture on behavior and additude. It was horrible, one of the most boring things in my life.

*BOOM*

I woke up. I was so confused, trying to figure out what had happened in the last few days. I ran downstairs, trying to figure out what the noise was. Mom accidentally ran into the TV when she tripped, because she was laying on the floor. Thankfully, the TV wasn't broken.

"Mom, are you ok???" I asked.

"Yes, sweetie, now go get dressed and eat breakfast, you're going to miss the bus!"

"But mom, it's a Saturday!"

"Sweetie, it's Friday. Stop playing games." she replied and pushed the TV off of her. I ran out of the room and grabbed my iPhone. Sure enough, it was Friday. That means that yesterday was all a dream... that was a really detailed dream...

Geena looked at me, confused. We were in the bus, riding to school. "Reina? Are you ok? You're zoning out an awful lot..." she said.

"Yeah I'm fine."

"So, who do you think Reese is going to kiss today?" she asked me.

"Well, I don't know, " I said. "I had a really weird dream last night..." I started but was interupped by Geena saying "Get off the bus, we're at school!"

I zoned out during most of my classes, worrying that what was going to happen in the dream would happen in real life. I was going to let Reese kiss me this time. I like him. I think.

It was time for lunch. I walked down the hallway towards the cafeteria, telling myself that I was ready for my first kiss. I sat down next to Geena and Ashely, with Newt and Reese on the other side. Reese looked like he was in a deep trance, thinking about something that must be pretty important. "Well, would you look at that!" I said, my voice a bit shaky, "It's almost noon..." I said and smiled weakly. I wasn't ready for this. Or was I?

Reese stood up, and walked out the door. He never said anything. Newt looked in his direction, and sighed.
