Reina's POV

It was a cold morning in late Janruary. BRINNGGGG BRINNGGG my alarm clock blared and I quickly woke up to stop it. I rubbed my eyes and dragged myself down the stairs to the kitchen where my mom was making pouring my cereal. I quickly ate it and went back upstairs to get dressed. I smiled, realizing Reese had to kiss a girl today. I looked at the clock. I was going to be late! I ran downstairs, grabbed my backpack and lunch and ran out the door and down the street to me bus stop, where Geena and Ashley were waiting for me. "Hey guys." I said when I reached them, totally out of breath.

"Er... nice shoes..." Geena said and I looked down. Crap, I was wearing two different pairs of shoes. Well this is going to be an interesting day.

The bus pulled up and I quickly found a seat near the front so that no one could see me shoe mishap. "Hey, be more careful when sitting down."

I looked over to my side, and saw Reese sitting there smirking. I must have been in too much of a rush to realize that he was also in the seat.

"Did you purposelly wear two different shoes?" He laughed, looking at my feet.

"Ughh, I was in a rush." I said, blushing. Reese snuck his wand out of his bag and muttered a quick spell and my two shoes suddenly where the same kind.

"Oh my gosh, thank you so much!" I said, resisting the urge to hug him. "Where did you learn that?"

"My older sister taught me it once, I was in the same situation." He replied.

We finally got to school and went into the cafeteria and sat down next to the rest of the group. Newt had his drumsticks out practicing some kind of drumset beat, and Geena was on her phone, typing really fast. "Why are you texting so fast?" I asked her. "Did you hear? Marcy dumped Hugh this morning at their bus stop!" Geena said. Me and Ashley just laughed. We didn't see why it was such a big deal, but Geena probably does because she's really the only one in the group that is actually allowed to talk with the populars (they keep to themselves).

*******(Almost lunch time)*******

Reese's POV

Oh, god, it was almost noon, Reina would be at the table in a minute.

"You got this, Reese." Newt whispered in my ear. Reina entered the cafeteria and sat next to me.

"So, Reese," she said, "It's almost noon, time to go find the girl of your dreams."

I got up and said "Come with me."

I led her outside the cafeteria and into the main hallway. I frantically searches for some kind of closet we could go into so I wouldn't have to kiss her out here. I dragged her with me until I found a closet and pulled her into it with me.

"Um, did you tell a girl to meet you here?" She said, clearly confused.

"Well, I didn't have to, because she's already here." I said. Wow, that was cheesy, good thing she didn't see how red my face was. I grabbed her waist, like how I saw in movies, and leaned forward. She leaned in a bit also, and held my shoulders. We were about an inch away, I can't belive I was actually going to kiss her. My heart was racing.

Suddenly, she pulled away. She looked at me for few seconds before running out and into a nearby bathroom.

"Wait!" I shouted. I thought about running after her, but it was no use. I walked back into the cafeteria alone. Once I got to the table, Ashley and Geena immediately started asking questions. "Where is she?" "Why isn't she here?" What did you do?" They said demandingly.

"Er, I think she had to go to the bathroom." I said as convincingly as I could. They ran out the door in search for her.

"Didn't go to well, did it?" Newt said, patting my back. "She might still come around."

The bell rang for the next class so we left.
