Chapter 1

I have to what?

It has been three years since alexia frost met maxine mayfield, they have became best friends after getting to know each other a bit.

Alexia frost has been keeping everything under control. Her grades are +A, her trainings are excellent, she became a top A student in school, Her friendship with maxine mayfield getting stronger and stronger.

That was until her telephone rang, and only one person know what its number.

"max? Hey?" alexia greeted confuse at the sudden call.

"hey, can we meet at the tree house?" max requested, alexia can hear a soft cry left max's lips

"are you okay?" she asked, feeling worried that maybe max's father or billy did something to her.

"yeah, can we meet at the tree house? Please." alexia let out a sigh because of max's plan to avoid the question.

"of course, I'll meet you there" alexia gave a signal to kyle who is near her.
Still in the phone, she ordered "tell jason to get the car ready, I'm going somewhere."

"but, young mistress, your―" alexia put her hand at the mic so that max won't hear her, but she did anyways, just faint.

"tell jason to get the car ready. Now!"
Max furrowed her eye brows at what she heard.

"of course, forgive me" kyle immediately got out of sight of the annoyed alexia.

Seing that kyle is no longer in her sight, alexia's face soften

"I'll meet you there"

"so, why did you want to meet up?" alexia asked as they walked towards the tree house.

"billy's dad, neil, want us to move away" max announced, her face falling as she said it.

"why do you have to move?" alexia asked after processing what max said
Max look up to her and answered her question

"mom said to get away from dad"

"but what will happen to us? You're my best friend, max. My one and only friend." max looks up to her with her eyes shinning 'cause of tears.

"i know, i don't want. I never wanted to. I don't want to leave you, but i have no choice" max said hugging alexia who hugged her back, no tears can be seen in her eyes as she refuse to be in.

"it's okay. We'll figure this out" alexia whispered, being threatened that if she speaks any louder her voice will broke.

"i hope so."

Today is not a very normal day, today is the day where max mayfield will have to move out and away from California.

"is everything pack?" neil asked, as a car was parked just behind the moving truck, catching the attention of the mayfield and hargrove family.

Max knew who it was and walk towards the car. The driver seat's door opened up and jason step out, at the same time jess did. Jess opened the door for someone at the back seat, revealing alexia.

Alexia walked up to the family and watched as neil hargrove straightened his posture.

She walked up to susan and shook her hand.

"it is so lovely to see you again, Ms. Mayfield" she knew using Ms. Mayfield will annoyed the hargrove adult but she doesn't care. "is it alright if i can talk to your son?" max caught up to what alexia's doing that made her bite her lips in attempt to suppress her laugh.

"of course." susan answered.

"great!" alexia turned to jason and whispered "stay with max" jason nod, while alexia nod at jess who went to billy's side and slightly gave a push, billy let a growl but walked with alexia.

"what is it you want, you little brat?" billy asked. Alexia clicked her tongue at his behavior.

"do you remember our deal? Touch max and I'll make sure you suffer." alexia said, billy let a laugh

"what are you gonna do? Send an army?" billy then turned to jess "or send your puppets?" it was now alexia's turn to laugh, bitterly.

"maybe, I'll send a whole army." she chuckled, darkly, then turned to jess before quickly punching billy's stomach. Billy let a grunt, as alexia help his shoulder firmly "or maybe I'll go there myself and show you something I'm good at. Do you understand?" billy let out a growl but nod a little "didn't quite saw that, i said do you understand?" billy nod

"yes"

"good" alexia heard a footstep coming nearer and nearer, she pulled billy's shoulder to straightened him up and pull him into a hug, her face soften as she heard the footstep stop behind them "hug me back" billy, nervously, hugged her bag. She patted his back and pull away "have a safe trip. Don't let an army get you" she smiled darkly but changes as she turn around.

Billy left, secretly throwing a dagger at max who caught it with jess who whispered something to alexia, as alexia nod.

"what was that all huggy stuff?" max asked, hugging alexia tightly, who hugged back. She smirked, secretly, before hugging back.

"just giving some tips" she answered, her eyes glowed into red then to normal.
