Only a few minutes had flew by, and everyone had already arrived and filed in accordingly. Everyone was either excited, anxious, or a weird mix of both. I was part of the anxious minority, I couldn't stop myself from throbbing with nerves.
Ding dong ding!
"Looks like everyone has arrived at the gym!"
"Please wait patiently as your teachers arrive on stage!"
"Finally, we've been waiting for ages!" complained Aimi with a groan.
"I didn't even know there were teachers," Hikari said blankly before turning to her sister. "Did you know, Sis?"
"Of course there'll be teachers," Kurai stoically replied, leaning her slender body against the wall as she crosses her arms.
After a waiting for a couple minutes, it happened, so suddenly.
"Are you utterly hyped?!" A voice screamed out of seemingly nowhere. We all scanned the room, trying to find the source of the voice.
"... Behind the podium!" Asobi suddenly pointed behind the principal's podium as he yelled.
"Wh-? Are those... bear ears?" Akito squinted his eyes as if it help zoom his vision closer.
"You're right!" the voice arose from the podium. And what popped out were two spinning figures high in the air. They swiftly landed on the ground in harmony. The figures raised their heads to show us...
Two teddy bears. One had white fur with rosy pink cheeks and a black button nose, and it wore a pink apron with small detailed frills. The other was a half-white half-black bear with one single crimson eye on the black side and a sinister smile on the same side.
Everyone fell silent.
"Ta-dah!"
"Hello, students! We are-"
"What the fuck?! Are you fucking shitting me?! What the hell is this fucking bullshit! Why the hell are there talking fucking bears in this damn school?!" Touma screamed out, not caring that he interrupted the bears.
"Excuse me, young man! I do not like cursing! Please behave appropriately when near your teachers!" the white bear scolded with puffed up cheeks.
"... Robots?" Hosoku randomly said.
"Geez! Mr. Theorist over here! Let us finish before talking, okay?" the two-colored bear shouted, he seemed angry.
"W-Wow... I never seen teddy bears so... expressive...! Amazing!" Aimi, unlike the rest of us, was just in awe. She gazed at the bears like they were pieces of art in a museum.
"We are not teddy bears!" the two bears shouted at her in perfect harmony.
"I'm Monokuma! Your headmaster."
"And I'm Monomai, Monokuma's wife," said the bear in the apron. "We are both here to tell you all something very important! We would like to invite to a little activity we organized!"
"Oh! What is it?" Yokina chimed in eagerly.
"It's... a— w-wah!" Monomai yelled in distress as her body started... shaking. "N-No! Not now! Not in front of the students!!"
Monomai's body didn't stop shaking, it was as if she was restraining herself from turning around. A couple grunts slipped out from her mouth, and suddenly her body hopped into the air, twirling like a hurricane.
With a thud, Monomai's body landed on the platform. However, she looked different than before. Her fur was fully black while her eyes were both crimson, like Monokuma's, and a demon's smile took over.
