Chapter 16

When we were about to leave for the park, Kristian came outside to ask us where we were going.

y/n: park, why?

Kristian: I have nothing to do.. can I come with u guys? 😍

Jacob: n-

y/n: yes bae 😍

Kristian: not you tryna get me to third wheel u two...

Jacob: fuck off. Go do whatever u were doing.

y/n: I thought u were gonna come :(

Kristian: we can have our date later short queen 😍

y/n: nah fuck you.

We left for the park and arrived around 20 minutes after. The park was really empty today and we both wondered why. Suddenly it clicked to the both of us that it's supposed to rain today.

Jacob: it's going to rain in a few minutes

y/n: yeah

Jacob: come on let's go back home

y/n: no.

Jacob: y/n it's going to rain

y/n: so?? I like the rain :)

Jacob: hmm fine

~~Jacob's pov

I saw y/n run around the empty park like a little kid who didn't care about anyone or what anyone would have to say about her. This is what I loved about her. She was different.

As I was walking towards her, it started to rain. We both ran towards the tree. We stood under the tree and I could tell she was feeling cold.

~~y/n's pov

Even though I loved the rain, the raindrops were cold. I was having the best day of life besides the cold. I could tell Jacob was staring at me but I didn't care. Whether he was judging me for acting like a kid or he was just staring for no reason, I did not care, I just wanted to enjoy the rain.

Jacob: here

Jacob handed me his leather jacket that he had on and put it around me. That was the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for me...

y/n: thank you :)

I was trying my best to not blush or to make it obvious but I don't think i was doing a very good job at that.

y/n: come with me

Jacob: where?

"Just come", I said while grabbing his hand and dragging him to where we both first sat down at this park.

Jacob: why did we come here

y/n: this is where we first came :) and it's under a tree

Jacob: right

I couldn't control myself anymore. I really liked this man.. and I hated it how my stomach fluttered to the thought of this man just being near me.

y/n: Jacob...

Jacob: yea?

He started at me when I said his name, and I think he could tell I was nervous because of how much I was fidgeting with my fingers. Just then, he held my hands with one hand and used the other hand to lift my chin up.

Jacob: come here

As he lifted my chin up, I stood up on my tiptoes and we both leaned in for that kiss.

I was hit with a bolt of emotions, not knowing how to feel anymore. I couldn't hold it in anymore, especially when Jacob looked at me like that after that kiss. I finally said what I needed to say.

y/n: Jacob I like you...

Jacob: wait what-

y/n: nvm..

He put his hands on my wrist to stop me from turning away and pulled me closer, leaving us only a millimeter away from each other. We both looked at each other until finally I was assured by the look he gave, that it was mutual feelings. I closed my eyes and closed the gap between the both of us.

Jacob let go of my wrist and moved his hands closer to my face but not breaking the kiss, and I pulled my hands near his elbow to hold him.

I finally broke the kiss to get some air and we both pressed our foreheads together.

y/n: I like you Jacob. Like a lot.

Jacob: in case you couldn't tell y/n, I like you :)

y/n: wait really?

Jacob: :) yeah

y/n: I can't believe this just happened.

Jacob: you're the queen of my heart ;)

y/n: oh shit-

Jacob: what?

y/n: Kristian and Bryce are gonna kill me

Jacob: why?

y/n: no reason.. we need to get home now

Jacob: but why

y/n: please

Jacob: fine but wait

y/n: what-

Jacob pulled me in for an another short kiss and finally dragged me all the way to our car. We both were soaking wet from the rain but we didn't care. It was the best day of our lives.

When we finally arrived home, I could see Bryce out with his camera, ready to capture Jacob's reaction. 

— after Jacob's reaction to the room filled with aluminum foil—

We all sat in Jacob's room just talking about the prank that happened.

Bryce: so where were u guys?

Kristian: they were at a date-

Jacob: park.

Kristian: yeah that.

Ace: interesting.

Bryce: why are you both wet??

y/n: idk Bryce. Maybe because it started to rain and we both were outside??? Dumbass

Bryce: you're gonna let her say that to me?

Kristian: ofc .. he isn't going against her

Jacob: you be asking dumb questions, how am I supposed to defend you

Bryce: whatever.

Ace: couple goals.

y/n: say it louder bitch

Ace: what??

y/n: what ever u whispered.

Ace: I didn't say nothing.

y/n: yeah right.

"here you go both of you", Mia said while handing us both towels.

y/n: thank you love :)

Jacob: thanks.

Mia: no problem but make sure to change into something warmer. Don't want you guys to catch a cold

y/n: we will.

Jacob: yeah

Bryce: we still don't know what happened today tho..

Jacob: nothing happened ;)

Kristian: that's what they always say.
