How can you really tell if he's the one?

I really don't have a fair share of ex boyfriends, and I admit that I'm dumb at spotting red flags. I was just too hopeless romantic that just wants to settle down in an instant.

I never felt the love and affection I always craved, not until Sebastien came, but I do know for a fact that there are things that are seems to be off, but I later on realized that he's doing it in order to protect me.

Hate is inevitable, and he just wanted to protect me from the people's hatred, I don't know how will they react if they learn about me so it's understandable even if it means denying me in front of people, my safety and feeling is always his priority.

"Nasaan na 'yong laing?!" bulyaw ko nang wala akong makitang laing na request ko.

"Here, here." ani ni Seb habang inilapag ang laing na halatang order lamang.

He told me he used to have a private chef kaya hindi siya sanay mag-luto, but he decided to get him a job at a different place since he doesn't trust his own chef, and he doesn't want na may kumalat na nga rumors tungkol sa pribado niyang buhay.

I sat down at the dining table happily, at agad ng sumandok ng mga natitipuhan kong pagkain. I requested so much food, but I only wanted the laing and fried fish.

"You're not touching the other foods?" he said with the clanks of spoon and knives on our plate.

"I don't feel like eating eat, " I said then stared at the  dishes. "kanina lang, but not now."

Sayang nga e, ang dami kong gusto na kainin kanina pero itong dalawa lang gusto ko, I was the one who requested various dishes from different cuisine, mainly Filipino, Italian and Chinese.

I was craving lasagna for breakfast but there isn't any Italian restaurant who serves lasagna that early in the morning, so I had as a snack instead but requested him to have it again on lunch time, then I was craving for Chinese dumplings and stirfry and asked him to have it at lunch too while I munch on fruits, but clearly I don't feel like eating it now, during the last minute I asked for laing and fish, he ordered the laing while he opted on baking the fish instead of frying it.

"Don't you feel unusual or different?" he asked.

I shook my head while chewing, I swallowed my food then proceeded to wipe the sides of my mouth with a table napkin.

"No, not really." I answered truthfully.

He gave me a cheeky smile. I noticed he's a bit too protective with me lately. He would guide me whenever I come down or up from the stairs, he immediately comes to me when I call for him, he would follow everything I ordered. He would ask me if I feel good, do I feel nauseous, or do I need something.

He would sent Kai here whenever he has a sudden meeting but as much as possible he would opt for online meeting instead. He doesn't like leaving me alone in here.

"Do you want to go out?"

"No, I noticed mas mabilis akong mapagod lately." I said truthfully.

"Do you want to get it checked?"

"No, hindi naman siguro seryoso."

He nodded but he looks very bothered. He sighed and continued eating.

Yes, madalas na akong hingalin, kahit naglalakad lang ako. I feel fine most of the days but there are some days that I feel a bit dizzy. I suspected it was just fatigue but I don't really much to feel tired. I even wanted to have a check-up but with Sebastien's busy schedule, I'm too shy to interfere.
