[Excuse the mistakes]

I can't believe I slept right through my alarm this morning.

I haven't had sleep like that in a while.

I rolled over and sat up in my bed doing my stretches.

I finished stretching my arms and went to open up my blinds.

I was already late for school so to me there was no point in going.

Besides , it's my senior year , so what's the worst thing that could happen?

I shrugged my shoulders and made my way to the bathroom to do my morning routine.

After I freshened up and did all my hygiene I checked the time.

Jaden and I decided to have lunch at some point today, so I decided to text him and see what he was doing this afternoon.

I also decided to text Eli and check on him. He gave us a really dry reply last night and I still feel like I need to see him.

I opted out of seeing him last night just to give him some space and some time to think .

I know this is all stressful and a lot to handle , so the least I could do is come over and help him come up with a plan .

I hope none of this changes how he feels about Jaden.

I need to make a mental note to ask Eli what all he said in the letters .

I also needed to remember to check in on Jaden's mental and see how he's holding up .

Eli isn't the only person whose heart is involved in this .

I let my mind drift back to those letters .

To be so upset he must have said a mouth full .. right ?

Why didn't he say anything? We could've helped ..

After everything, we've been through I at least owe him that.

I couldn't decide who I wanted to see first.

Jaden or Eli?

I chuckled to myself . Is that even a valid question?

I decided to hold off on my and Jaden's lunch date until after school or at least until I talk to Eli .

I grabbed my keys and my purse and made my way to the door.

I double-checked to make sure I had everything and locked the door behind me .

My mom would be out late working again , so I had to be sure to lock up .

Normally, I leave before her , so she's the one who makes sure to lock everything up , but when she's working like this I don't even see her in the mornings .

I stopped by Starbucks on the way to Eli's house and picked up his favorite iced coffee along with a few egg bites.

I'm personally not big on breakfast, and even though it's a small gesture I know Eli will appreciate it .

When I pulled up to Eli's house no cars were in the yard.

Elijah thinks he's slick but he's not . I know he knows me better than that.

I know for a fact that Eli didn't go to school and he wouldn't be out this early unless he was.

I parked my car and knocked on the door. After a few moments of silence, I grabbed the spare key under the plant and walked inside the home.
