I can't believe I'm doing this shit .

My heart is pounding out my chest .

I'm nervous as a bitch right now .

We made small talk while we looked over the menu deciding on burgers and fries since neither of us was in the mood for sandwiches.

Plus , we still had all the extra snacks I bought .

He grabbed the fruit tray and slid it towards him .

He picked up a pineapple chunk and slowly chewed it .

He looked down quickly blushing once he noticed me staring at him .

He looked as if he wanted to say something but his shyness took over instead .

He's so freaking adorable.

I looked down fiddling with my hands .

"What made you choose me?"

I was kinda thrown back by his question , so I continued to fiddle with my fingers carefully constructing my answer .

My gaze meets his . "Why not choose you? In my eyes you're perfect . No , I haven't gotten to know you fully but what I have gotten to see .."

He frowned a little. "But why me ? And why through notes? Why didn't you feel comfortable walking up to me?"

I sighed a little running my hands down my face .

"When I first saw you - you had a frown on your face . The next time I saw you - you were smiling your gorgeous smile .

From that moment I knew I always wanted to be someone that brings that smile out of you .

As to why I wasn't comfortable coming up to you I didn't feel like you would want to be with someone like me .

Not saying I'm unattractive it's simply because to me you're everything and I wasn't confident you would feel the same about me ."

Shock was now evident in his features .

Before he could respond our waitress came over with our food .

She placed the plates in front of us before asking if there was anything else we'd like .

I looked down at the burger . "Can I get some ketchup , pickle , and some ranch for my fries?"

I looked over at Jay gesturing for him to let her know if he needed anything .

He shook his head and said, "The condiments you got are fine".

He flashed her a smile showing off his smiley that I'm just now noticing.

Gosh , can he get any better ?
