Scene 1:
It's the next morning, in the other universe. Lynn and Kaz woke up for their first day of school, got ready, and are now having breakfast.
Lynn: We need to buy new clothes. These are the same ones we wore, while running away from the flamethrower psycho. I had to use all of the deodorant in my purse to stop smelling like a monkey.
Kaz: So? I used all of the one Noah left in the bathroom. And we'll buy new clothes after school. I know how to get gold bars.
Lynn: Good... So, when they ask us where we come from, do we tell them we're from Gooseland?
Kaz: Maybe. It's certainly better than telling them we're exchange students from another universe.
Lynn: Yeah. But we'll run the risk of people asking us questions about Gooseland, and how it compares to other countries.
Kaz: Gooseland is a dictatorship. I'm sure we can get away with the 'life was terrible and we don't know anything about the free world' thing.
Lynn: Yeah, but what if there are other Gooselandians there? The way Noah spoke, kinda hints that there are a lot of Gooselandian immigrants here.
Kaz: In that case, when they ask us where we're from, we'll say something vague, like north or south. Gooseland is apparently where Canada used to be, so I'm sure it's a large country.
Lynn: ... Yeah. And we're just gonna have to make it work. Hopefully they buy it. (checks watch) Shouldn't we be going?
Kaz: Alright.
[They put the dishes in the sink, and leave. On their way, they walk by Noah]
Noah: And look who's up. I bet you're a little nervous about your first day.
Lynn: We are, Noah.
Noah: Well, don't be. Blue Ocean is a great place. I've worked there myself a few decades ago. And I know a lot of the kids who come to my restaurant... By the way, this came in the mail for you (hands them an envelope each). It's your school schedule.
Kaz: Thanks, Noah. So, we'll be going now.
Noah: Go for it. Good luck, kids.
[The two of them wave goodbye to Noah, and then start walking towards the school]
Kaz: I don't quite remember where it was.
Lynn: It's alright, I do. We're not that far away.
Kaz: You sure you don't wanna take the bus?
Lynn: Come on, Kaz. It's only a few blocks away.
Kaz: Alright... So, how long exactly are we staying here?
Lynn: Until we get tired, or something. We'll see where this goes.
Kaz: Yeah, makes sense... Hold on, we forgot our school uniforms!
Lynn: We forgot what?!
Kaz: Hahahaha just kidding. They don't wear school uniforms here.
Lynn: (sigh of relief) Don't do that, Kaz. You got me scared for a second.
Scene 2:
They finally get to Blue Ocean High, and this time, it is crowded with fellow teenagers.
Lynn: Wow. That's a lot of people.
Kaz: (looking around) No one fighting. No one bullying people. No one doing drugs... I think I might like this school.
Lynn: Yeah. And they all look calmer... Anyways, let's look at the schedules.
