Now I'm on the train all i can remember if the reaping is a blur i feel like i must have been shaking the whole time but when our escort shows us the recap of the reaping i look just as calm as thresh , how i did this i diont know but it made me look strong and i will need that.
After a huge meal of luxurious food that almost made me sick , not because of the food its self but because i knew at home my family would never get anything like this all of there lives and would have to work all week just to get enoigh money form the side salade, and having a boling shower i try and get some sleep but i cant stop wrigling about , im o used to sharing a bed with my brothers and sisters that i just cant sleep. When i cant here anyone outside i slide out of my room and knock on thresh's door.
He's still awake and opens the door when i knock
"what " he grumbles in his low voice, " i..i just wanted to know if you would let me stay with you for a while" i finally manage to utter. He just looks so big and scary i half think of running back to my room. he obviously sees the panic onj my face because his voice suddenly goes light and soft so gentle i wonder how how a person of his size can sound so soothing.
" Jeez , sorry if i scared ya rue , im just cranky i guess , i mean these capital people just prance about like everythings fine, anyway of course ya can stay here" and wit those words he lift me int his arms and onto the bed cuddling me into a blanket , so im so comfy i just fall asleep right there and dont even wake up when he moves me back to my room.
