It's been a day since I told myself I would talk to rue but I can't work out how to do it , I don't want her to see me as a selfish career , how do I get her to see me as me?
Training is just blaring I've done all the weaponry stations so I will probably do some survival tomorrow just to be on the safe side , all of the group seem to like me marvel especially after he saw me with a trident.
I eat super in my room tonight because I'm really tired of queen stephanie being all nagy every minute she seems to be moaning and it's really wearing on me , I'm just about to get into bed after my shower and I'm in my pj bottoms when I realise I left my notebook on the sofa , mostly it's just doodles but lately I've been drawing rue and I'm not sure how I would explain it to anyone round here if they found it , with that in my head I pull on a hoodie coz I'm sure I'd get pretty cold in my pj shorts. I get to the lounge with no problem after making sure every one was asleep but I can't find my note book any were the only other place it could be would be the roof , it's really quite there so I've been spending loads of time there. The avox's let me onto the roof after I explain I left something up there but still I can't find it , but I'm so tired now I'll just come back up tomorrow , I'm heading down the stairs back to my room when I get to the corner on my floor I wasn't really paying attention and I walk into someone
" ugh watch whe- " I'm starting to mumble at the person when I look up after picking up my hoodie which they had knocked out of my arms , I realise I'm staring into rues eyes
" oh - em I'm real sorry I was just.. Em just going to giving something back to your mentor , well I think it might be someone's on your floor it has a four on it but it's not that I looked I swear I didn't look" rue hurries to add , as if anyone could get angry at her , she's stuttering and starting to blush I mean how can someone with her skin tone even blush , I don't know but here she is the girl of my dreams stood right in front of me apologising for me running into her, I take a step back and look at her , she's Wearing thes short green pjs that really suit her and she's got her hair let down , I honestly don't think she's ever looked more pretty.
" em.. Well sorry , here ya go " and with that she shoves something into my hands and runs back down the hall.
Once I get back to my room I actually look down at what rue shoved at me , I realise it's my watch from training , I hadnt even noticed it was gone , on the back is an engraved four , it was my dads but mom gave it to me when he died so I Could remember him I'm really happy I have it back it's one of the only things of his I have left.
Ugh , could I have made a worse first impression to rue , she probably thinks I'm some arrogant idiot , I will thank her tomorrow . With that thought I climb into bed , I hadn't even realised I was that tired but now I feel swamped all I can think about is rue.
