Chapter five _|||_New faces

Damien POV

Once the kitchen was clean and everyone had breakfast, the twins and I were off to school.

When we got out of the car, we made our way to the school entrance, but before we could enter someone shouted in our direction.

"Melody! Mark! Heyy!!", I turned to see a tall boy with black hair faded an icy blue. Before anyone could react Marinette and Markus shouted in unison, "LUKA!!!!"
They ran towards him and tackled him into a hug. I watched as they got up and started conversing with each other before heading of to class, constantly telling myself that I wasn't jealous of some blue haired boy.

Luka POV

I arrived in Gotham earlier than I told Melody and Mark so that I could get them some gifts and surprise them with my big news.

I was passing by a school, when I spotted the twins heading to the maintenance.

"Melody! Mark! Hey!!", so much for getting them gifts, I thought before hearing them shout my name and tackle me in a hug. I hugged them back before Mark pulled away.

"Wait a minute, I thought you said you'd be flying in on Thursday.", he asked, confusion and surprise lacking his voice. "He's right. Unless..." she trailed off before they each let out gasp, "You lied to us!", they realize, shouting in unison.

"Surprise~", I said, stepping back and doing the jazz hands with a large smile on my face. Mark let out a small chuckle while Melody giggled. "As much as we'd love to chat, we have to get to class.", Mark said, gesturing to the school. "So, talk after school?", I asked. They looked at each other and back at me. I shrugged it off and changed the topic. "What time do your classes end anyhow?"
"School ends at one-fifteen/13:15.", Melody answered. I nodded in acknowledgment, and ushered them to class, not wanting to be the reason they were late.

Once they were out of sight, I let out sigh, I noticed that they were really pale, like they haven't been outside for while. Well looks like I'm taking them to the park this weekend. I walked towards a café a few blocks from the school. I placed my order at the counter, joking with the guy at the counter,Carter, and took a seat in a secluded conner of the café.

While waiting for my food, I pulled out my notepad and guitar. I began working on one of my songs, I noticed a few people entering the café but didn't pay mind to it, I was soon interrupted by a tall blue eyed man, with a white streak in his black hair. "Hi there. You wouldn't mind if I sat here would you?", the man asked.
"Not at all. I'm Luka by the way.", I smiled said politely, gesturing he over to the empty. He took a seat and introduced himself as Jason. We spoke a little before falling into a comfortable silence, until the waiter came and set our orders on the table.

"So, what brings you to Gotham.", he was a nice guy and I knew he could be trusted. I could tell, it's just a gift I've always had and looked genuinely curious, so I spoke, "I'm visiting my friends before my Dad arrives.", he looked at me before taking a bite of his pie(his order). I followed his lead and began eating my toast before taking a sip of my coffee, when he spoke, "Luka right?", I nodded, "How about I show you around the safer parts of Gotham.", I looked at in pure surprise at the offer before answering "That'd be great actually.", I replied with a smile. We finished our food, paid and headed for town square.

Jason POV

I walked into a café a few blocks away from hell, better known as Gotham Academy. Don't get me wrong it's a great school, at least when you're a rich snob anyway, I for just didn't have the greatest experience there. I only came to the café because of the decent customer service, great food, the nice atmosphere and surprisingly nice people there.
