The sunlight hit your half-naked body. Every bit of your skin was glowing softly. The scars, moles, bruises, and imperfections, all could be seen with great detail, even the recent marks Rafe left on you not too long ago. Everything was a work of art under the beams of the sun, shining from the open window.
As your frame incorporated itself from the bed, using both your elbows, you walked slowly over to the full-length mirror. Examining your body carefully, the only thing that escape your lips, was the sound of sadness. A sigh.
Getting even closer to your reflection, you noticed the eyebags on your tired eyes, your messy hair covering half your face, and the hickeys. Your hand went over to your mouth, touching your lips softly. They were still puffed up. "What a night, huh..." You said to yourself, fixing your hair while sighing again.
Before you could make your way to the bathroom, a sudden knock on the door was heard, making you turn your head to look directly at the sound. "Morning princess, it's time to wake up!" It was Sam. "Can I come in?" After that question was asked, more noises came from the door, meaning Sam wanted to open the door. You quickly made your way to the door handle, holding it in place. "Sam! Not now, I'm changing!" Right as you said that, the noises stopped. There was a moment of pure silence. You even thought Sam left. "Oh, yeah...Of course!" You heard him chuckle. He sounded embarrassed. "I'm supposed to be a gentleman..." A light giggle escaped your lips, as you keep looking at the door. "Guess I'll see you in a bit..!" And with that, footsteps could be heard, getting more distant by the second.
"Shit, what do I do now..." You groaned, making your way over to the bathroom as your hands trailed over to the top of your head. "I look dead..." Sighing once again, you decided the only way to "wake up", was to take a quick shower. "Yeah, that'll do...Hopefully." The sound of water splashing on the floor was the only thing that you could focus on. Removing the rest of your clothes, you stepped inside the shower, and you proceeded to massage your face as the drops of water hit your face, body...

You finished showering as quickly as you got inside. You grabbed your towel and wrapped it around your cold figure. "Hope I didn't take too long..." Uttering those words, you went over to the closet, trying to find something comfortable to wear, after all, it was gonna be a long day, and you weren't ready at all. Not after what happened, but you still tried to block those memories out.
After drying your hair and body, you rushed to get dressed. Looking at the mirror once again, you noticed there was a slight problem, that problem was all the hickeys planted all over your shoulders, neck, and even your collarbone. "Oh god...Okay, think of something quick..." You looked around with a visible frown on your face. Shortly after you spotted your only solution. Foundation. "Okay, this can work...!" You quickly smiled as you applied it all over the marks, trying to blend them as naturally as possible.
"Hey, I don't want to sound biased, but, women do take a long time dressing up, huh?" A voice said followed by a light chuckle. Your feet made all the way to the front door, opening it in the process. "I was just kidding..! Good morning...sleepyhead." There was Sam again, leaning on the door frame, looking at you. "Morning, Sam." You smiled softly as his hand placed itself on your shoulder, patting it slowly. "Are you ready to go? Nathan and Victor are already outside." He said with a smirk plastered on his face. "Let's go, gentleman." You emphasized, grabbing Sam's arm and making your way outside. You just heard another laughter coming from him, before being greeted by Nate and Sully on your way out.
---------------------------------------
The blazing sun, the feeling of immense heat radiating from the floor, and no drop of energy in your body had you dead. Good thing you were sitting down on the Jeep. Your arms were resting on the front part of the car, as you tried to keep yourself awake.
