"I'll make sure you understand who you belong to."

Those words traveled down your spine, making your whole body tingle in fear. How he let those words spit out of his mouth felt cold, and controlling. That tone he used...you never heard him talk that way, not after everything that happened. His hands made their way over to your wrist, pinning them on top of your head. It made you feel weak and vulnerable. It made you feel like nothing under him, a mere toy. His toy.

"You heard me..." His soft lips were inches away from your neck. "Right, Y/n?" Each word that escaped his lips made you tremble. "When I ask something, I want an answer." The grip on your wrist grew tighter, creating a light whimper to escape your chapped lips. His body was slightly shaking whenever he heard you. A whimper, a gulp, your breath...He was crazy about it.

You couldn't dare to look at him, but, you still did. Insanity. His eyes were bloodshot, with eyebags under them as If he hadn't slept in days. They were filled with lust, anger, and obsession.

"You're insane..." You whispered under your breath, trying not to cry anew. You didn't want to show any vulnerability in front of him. Rafe processed every word you said, laughing at how weak you looked. "You want to hear insane, Y/n?"

After those words, his hands made their way over to your neck, choking you. "You want to know how much I had to sacrifice because of you?!" His words were burning through your skin. You tried to pull his hands away from your neck, trying to breathe. "I hate how I'm acting because of you, you ruined everything." He leaned down over to your face, hands still on your neck. "Everything was going according to plan, but then, you appeared."

Since Rafe's hands were on your neck, you took the opportunity to slap him in the face, making him lose the force applied to your neck. As you did that, you got him off you, running over to the bathroom, closing and locking the door in the process.

"Y/n, open the door...I don't want to play games." Rafe said trying to force the door open. The handle couldn't stop moving up and down. "Stop acting like a child." He kept trying and trying. "Come on, think of something..." You thought to yourself, hugging your cold arms in the process. You only had an oversized shirt and your underwear. It was freezing.

Something happened before getting inside the bathroom, you took Rafe's gun, which was placed on the nightstand. At first, you didn't think much of it. Why would he have it there in the first place? No, that thought didn't come to mind, the only idea you had was escaping from him, somehow... "Just shoot him and run away." You sobbed quietly, looking at the door. The adrenaline was too much to handle.

Everything was quiet again, it was pure silence. The only sound that could be heard was the slight and soft creaking from the floor beneath you. It was very subtle. But, then again, he wasn't talking...he wasn't trying to open the door...Nothing.

Looking at the mirror one last time, hitched breaths escaped your trembling lips. Bruises were around your body: neck, back, torso, knees, shoulders... There were wounds too, and, even a bandage wrapped around the left side of your scalp. After that, you remember everything that happened before waking up here. Sam and I were trying to hide after Nathan called us, and before we could notice, a tank started shooting us. "My god, Sam..." You sobbed quietly, covering your bruised face. "I'll make sure nothing like this happens again..."

Seconds passed and you suddenly opened the door, aiming the gun at Rafe. His frame was close to the door, but, he was standing still. "Y/n, what are you d-" "Shut up, I don't want to hear you!" You didn't let Rafe finish his sentence, yet he was still looking at you. There was something weird about his expression. His gun was pointed against him, but, he was smiling, he seemed...proud.
