The sun was way up in the sky, the wind and the sun rays hitting your face softly. The sweet aroma of nature, the sea, and even the scent of food hit your nose like some kind of newfound nostalgia. Your hand was resting on your chin as your eyes scanned the beautiful view around you. Sam, on the other hand, was looking straight at the road while driving. His expression seemed peaceful yet focused, as If he was enjoying every mere second he was spending with you. You found that sweet, smiling to yourself.

To be completely honest, the only thought left on your mind was this exact moment. Being with Sam made you feel completely safe, his aura made you forget about any bad situations you ever faced. Even his touch emptied your mind, as his hand was still placed on your thigh. You loved every second of it, this was the key to your happiness.

"Come on princess, wake up! We have to get going!" Sam's voice echoed through the distant sounds of the crowd as he caught your attention. "You'll have time to rest later, I promise." His lips left a soft chuckle as he finished the sentence.

Seconds after saying that, he got out of the car, making his way over to the door, opening it in the process. "M'lady." He said with a smirk on his face. You laughed quickly, punching him in the shoulder softly. "Thank you, good sir." You said, getting out of the Jeep. "Alright, so...I guess we have to go there?" Sam nodded as he saw you pointing at the tower. "Smart girl." You rolled your eyes and quickly grabbed Sam's arm. "Let's go!"

Everywhere you looked you could see hundreds of people walking around the streets, selling food, and kids running around. It was crowded, but you didn't care. Sam held you close preventing you from getting lost. "This is paradise, isn't it?" He said with a loud tone since it was almost impossible to hear anything. You looked over at him with a smile on your face, nodding quickly. "I wish we could just stay here and enjoy the view..." Sam's expression turned into a frown when he heard you say that. Of course, he wanted it too. After all, he was finally alone with his long-time crush, his everything, and yet, he was too scared to admit it. "...Don't worry about that, we will." His hand placed itself on your head, caressing it in the process. You just kept looking at him with a soft yet sad expression.

You guys kept looking at each other for a few seconds, maybe even minutes. That's when you felt someone slightly bump into your shoulder, making you lose your balance. The only thing you could do for your face to not hit the ground was to place your hands on Sam's chest.

As you proceeded to do that, your cheeks turned into a deep red, realizing what you just did. You apologized to Sam as soon as possible but kept stuttering as you couldn't form a coherent sentence. "Hey, hey! Princess, it's okay..!" Sam said trying to make you feel better, his face a slight shade of red too. Since you kept trying to apologize, failing miserably, Sam shushed you as he rushed over to the clock tower. You just kept quiet as he guided you there.

"I think the door might be closed." You crossed your arms as Sam was talking. You just tried to gain your composture from what happened moments ago. Your eyes scanned the clock tower. "Guess we'll have to find another way in, huh?" "Mhm, I'll follow the pretty lady." With that said, you made your way inside, climbing through one of the half-broken windows.

"Well, that was easy..." You said, dusting off any dirt from your clothes. "It sure was." You heard him say behind you, placing a hand on your shoulder. "Good thing there are no shoreliners around." The only thing that escaped your lips was awkward laughter. If he only knew. "Don't speak too soon..!" "Yeah, yeah...you're right," Sam said as he held his hands in the air, acting as If he got caught up in the act or something. "I'll keep my mouth closed." Both your laughs created an echo all around the tower. "Come on, smokey," You said with a proud look on your face. "Let's find the best pirate treasure ever known to mankind."
