TWENTY-FIVE YEARS AGO

Sprinting down the white streets of Metalloic, a blonde couple would be seen. Staying hidden in the shadows with help from the night sky, the two would seem extremely paranoid. Making sure that no one would see them, the man would stop in place. Holding hands with his lover, she too would stop before turning to him.

"Sammy, what are you doing? We need to go!" She spoke while trying to catch her breath.

As the man looked down, he placed his other hand on the woman's stomach. She was pregnant, seeming to be not far from being due. Smiling widely at his partner, he'd tilt his head.

"Just... I love you, Veronica. Soon we'll be out of here and free. I just have to make sure though." He'd sigh. "Are you sure you want to leave Metalloic? I'm done with The Metallo People... But, you're family... The Ingoshian Tribe, I always saw you lot as the good guys!"

Chuckling at the father of her child, Veronica would shake her head. Taking his hand and pulling it towards her, she'd smile.

"Every tribe is evil, rooted in just that. Our child, they need somewhere safe. Not a place where knights patrol 24/7 and where loving someone could just get you killed." She spoke.

"Um, V..." Samuel would chuckle. "You know that is still very much a thing around the world..."

Rolling her eyes, Veronica would quickly kiss his cheek.

"It'll be better than where we are. That's why we're heading to America. Clinton, the big apple... Oprah!" Her eyes would begin to glisten.

With the couple as happy as they could be, something would quickly catch their attention.

"Find them! Find Priest Samuel!" Knights would be heard yelling.

The lover's eyes would widen as they heard the shouting. Nodding to one another, they'd continue their escape. Running down alleyways while keeping their faces covered, the pair would stay on their feet as they headed for the border.

"Sorry, Mother. Father..." Samuel growled to himself. "I refuse to become The Golden Edge!"

As the night sky began to take over, Ivy would be inside her palace. Walking up the marble steps, the Priestess would arrive before a double door. Pushing it open, a giant master bedroom would be revealed. With a red and white bed in the center and a golden chandelier on the ceiling, Ivy would smile.

Stepping into the room, she'd quickly place her staff onto a stand specially made for her royal weapon. Happy that it was steady, Ivy would turn towards her bed. Feeling very tired after her long day of leading, she decided an early night would be best. Skipping towards the furniture piece, something would quickly cause her to freeze.

The ground would suddenly begin to shake as the palace shook violently. Vases and statues would fall off of their pedestals, smashing as they connected with the floor. For Ivy, she would be stumbling around. Trying to make her way towards her staff, she would successfully grab it. As she did, Nat would run into the room. Shouting in fear, The Golden Edge would quickly run over to her.

"What's happening?" The royal woman yelled, looking to her head maid.

"I have no idea Priestess!" She replied, terrified.

As the two women tried to keep their balance, the lights in the room would begin to flicker. With no warning, The Wave began to faze through the walls. Heading straight for them, Ivy would gasp. Standing in front of her favorite maid, The Golden Edge would hit her staff on the ground. With a determined look on her face, a large ice sphere would quickly cover them. Trying to shield herself and Nat from whatever was coming, the Priestess would hold her ground.

The orange wave of energy would collide with the ball of ice, instantly causing it to shatter. As the shards scattered on the floor around the pair, they would instantly be struck by The Wave. The energy ripped its way through the female's bodies, throwing them to the ground as it passed.

Grunting in pain and still with her staff in her hand, Ivy would jump onto her feet. With the earthquake no longer active, she'd easily make her way over to Nat. Holding her spare hand down towards her, she would help the head maid up.

"Thank you, Ma'am!" She bowed, feeling lucky to have such a great leader.

"It's alright... But..." She sighed before running out of the room.

Sprinting down the staircase, followed by Nat; Ivy would head to the knight's quarters. Forcing her way into the room, several white soldiers would be seen. They would instantly turn to their leader as she entered, awaiting her orders.

"Ren?" She shouted, looking between the knights.

Stepping forward, he would smile. Luckily he had a golden mark on his helmet, allowing people to know it was him. Nodding, he stepped closer to the women.

"Yes, it was the energy wave. It seemed the shield only slowed it down..." He admitted.

Shaking her head, The Golden Edge would look to the floor. Thinking to herself, she tried to decide on how to deal with the crisis. She began to contemplate contacting one of the other tribes, wanting to know if they were doing okay.

Metalloic would hold four tribes, with The Metallo People being one of them. Being a small country, it was split into four sections. The Golden Edge and her tribe would run the southwest part, keeping their distance from the others. Directly above them, in the northwest area, would be The Alloynian People. With their horrendous dictator known as The Bronze Age, every tribe would keep away from them. To the left, in the east-south piece of Metalloic, lives The Ingoshian Tribe. Known as the peace lovers, they seemed to have an unknown hatred for The Golden Edge. Lastly, in the northwest, were The Orexian People. This selection of people was extremely smart, being the most formidable tribe to exist. With indestructible walls to keep away outsiders and weapons stronger than any of the others, no one would know what was going on within the walls of the Orexians territory.

Tilting her head to the side, Ivy would shrug her shoulders. It was not like any of them would reply to her offers of help. Sighing, she would quickly look up. Tapping her staff on the ground, every knight would instantly turn to her.

"Alright, Metallo Knights! Patrol the streets, help civilians and clean the paths. We here look out for each other, we help each other. Because we are a family!" Ivy stated, smiling at her soldiers.

Holding their swords into the air, the knights would cheer.

"Praise Crimson!" Ivy yelled.

"Praise Crimson!" Everyone else replied, with smiles on their faces.

The knights would march out of the palace and onto the streets, instantly helping the community. Rewiring, first-aid, it seemed these knights were highly trained in multiple areas.

Being left with Ren and Nat once again, Ivy would sigh. She was extremely confused, having no idea what The Wave was. Thinking about what to do, she began to tap her foot in a rhythmic pattern. Causing her employees to peer at her, they'd wait for the Priestess to speak.

"I think we need to consider opening the borders..." She'd state.

"What!" Nat gasped.

"Are you sure that's wise?" Ren would add.

Nodding her head, Ivy would go to speak before being interrupted. The doors would swing open before two knights came running in. Seeming out of breath, the trio would turn their gaze to them.

"What's this about!" The head knight yelled, stepping towards them.

"It's the gold factory!" One spoke, with a male voice.

"Someone's stolen a bunch of the supply, not the raw gold... The refined gold...." The other added, sounding female.

Gasping himself, Ren, the knights and Nat would turn to The Golden Edge. Blinking a few times, Ivy would shake her head.

"Ah...." She groaned with annoyance. "Motherfu...."
