TWO MONTHS AGO

Sitting on her couch, Ivy would be contemplating everything in her head. She's been left with a difficult ultimatum. Does she go and become The Golden Edge or does she let someone new take over and possibly ruin The Metallo Peoples' economy? Rubbing her head, she'd peer up to the two standing before her. Tilting their heads, Nat and Ren would smile toward Ivy.

"We can't leave until you make a decision." Ren smiled, nodding his head at the girl.

Jumping onto her feet, Ivy would make her way over to the TV. Gazing down at the photo of her and her parents, she'd pick it up. Smiling at the picture, the woman would close her eyes. Deciding in her mind, she would finally choose.

Nodding her head, Ivy would open her eyes. Turning to the two standing behind her, she'd nod to them. Sighing deeply, she'd look back at the photo.

"Yes, I'll do it..." She nodded. "I'll become The Golden Edge, for my parents!"

Smiling, Nat would clap. Taking a step toward the doorway, she would turn to Ivy.

"We'll wait in the car outside for you, take as long as you need. Don't forget your passport!" She nodded before opening the door.

Ren would smile and wave goodbye to Ivy. Nodding to her, he would exit her American home. With Nat smiling too, she would also hurry out. Closing the door behind them, the future leader would be left alone.

Looking around the interior of the house, she would sigh. Shaking her head, she'd take the photo she held to her bedroom. Laying it on her table, she'd then turn to her wardrobe. Pulling it open, she'd spot a suitcase. Throwing it onto her bed, she'd begin to fill it with various items. Clothing, toiletries and even trinkets from her home. When she was done, she laid the photo on top before zipping the case shut. Sighing, she'd take one last look around her bedroom.

"Goodbye Mississippi..." She mumbled.

As the sun rose over Metalloic, The Golden Edge would march into the atrium. Finally being morning and getting some sleep, Ivy felt ready for her day. With a serious look on her face, she looked around the room. Standing together was Demetrius and Ren, instantly looking to the leader as she entered.

"Ready?" She nodded, peering at them.

Nodding back to her, Ivy would smirk. With her staff in one hand, she would spin towards the door and leave. Followed by the head knight and her grandfather, the trio would make their way outside of the palace. Taking in the fresh air, the group would look down the white paths of their section of land.

Without a second to lose, the three would march on. Walking throughout the settlement of The Metallo Tribe, the group would make their way to the border. Civilians would wave and cheer as they spotted The Golden Edge, causing her to smile and wave back too.

As they continued to walk, they would arrive at the border that separates the Metallo and Ingoshian Tribes. Stopping by a large gate, The Golden Edge would peer at a knight. Nodding her head at him, he'd lean over and push a lever. The ground slightly shook as the large gate before them opened. Finally, as the gates fully stood open, Demetrius would take the lead.

Walking through the entryway, the trio would enter Ingoshian territory. Everything would seem different instantly. Instead of gold trimmings on buildings and the street, there would be silver panelling. Holding buildings up, even The Ingoshian Knights' armour had silver embedded into them.

Every tribe had a separate refined metal that they used and with The Ingoshian People, they used silver obviously. Making their land very shiny, the trio would venture on as civilians would stare them down. Instead of the waves and cheers, all they would get were dirty looks. Keeping a straight face, Demetrius would lead them to The Silver Lining's castle.
