"Hey, Jamil, I'm here!" You clumsily made your way to the gymnasium as Jamil gave you a deadly glare.
"You're late." He sighed and crossed his arms. "Didn't you say you truly wanted to improve your dancing skills? It doesn't seem so to me."
"Sorry. I really want to, and I know you'll be the best teacher for that!"
Jamil wore a surprised expression for a few seconds, then turned his head away. "It's fine, let's get started. Come here."

The gymnasium was empty, there were only the two of you. All of the other students were either attending their classes, walking around the campus or relaxing in their dorms. You were glad Jamil gave a bit of his time to help you with your wish. In fact, it made you very, very happy to spend some alone time with him, since you've been crushing on the sophomore for a while now.

"Alright. Show me what you've got. What kind of dance are you going for in general? Do you have a specific goal?"
"I know a bit of ballet... I used to practice when I was younger. But now I forgot most of it, I don't think I can be that graceful while dancing. It can be something like jazz... Or maybe hip hop... Or, hum..." Your voice faded away as you slowly lost your focus, mostly because of how Jamil was staring so intensely at you, hearing your every word.
He raised an eyebrow, expectant for you to continue. You lowered your gaze and tried to concentrate again. "I just really miss dancing. So after I heard you were the best dancer in night raven college, I thought I could ask for your help. I'm not aiming to be a professional, but I want to at least move without looking too pathetic or awkward."

Jamil looked at you for a few more seconds. He was the master of deceit, a very chill and coolheaded guy, who seldom showed how he really felt and acted according to how the situation would favor him, always hiding his emotions, which could be a pretty useful skill, especially in a place like this. But this time, his expression was different, he looked almost embarrassed. He rubbed his hand on the back of his neck and cleared his throat.
"I'm not the best dancer around, Kalim is... And I don't think you look pathetic at all, the way I see it, you move yourself around rather elegantly."
You blinked a few times, processing what he had just said. Your heart started to beat faster and you tried your best not to look too flustered. "Thank you, I guess that if you're saying it, then it's true." You gave him a playful smile and jokingly hit his shoulder, which only made him frown and give a small step back.
"R-right." Jamil quickly turned his head away and took a deep breath. "Look, it's fine if you are not so good at it right now. Just show me some basic steps of what you know and I'll see what I can do. You said you are more experienced with ballet, so I'll put something on related to that, then you do the steps according to what the music makes you feel."

You nodded and closed your eyes for a minute. After having calmed yourself down completely, you began to dance, allowing your body to move freely and lightly across the gymnasium. It was like you were floating and you forgot the world around you, just simply feeling the beat of the music and enjoying the moment.
A few minutes later, the music finally stopped and you panted, trying to catch your breath. You glanced at Jamil, who was standing still as a rock, apparently surprised and pleased with your demonstration. He shook his head slightly, then walked in your direction, getting closer to you.

"Impressive." He smiled at you, making your heart skip a beat. "You are not awkward at all. Right, just some little corrections. There were steps where you didn't keep your posture entirely perfect, so I'll help you with that."
Jamil placed himself behind you and touched your hips gently with his firm hands. You involuntarily gasped at the sudden contact, feeling your breath getting hitched already.
"Try getting your column to be more erect. Incline yourself more to my direction, like this." He adjusted you by pushing your back really softly to where he wanted, then moved one of his hands to your right shoulder. "Your shoulders are too tense. In fact, moving your head and shoulders at the same time make your whole body look stiff."
