You Make Me Happy, But...

Chapter 3

They arrive at Monica's home. Shawn seems nervous to meet her. It's like he wants to aks her for the prom to be his partner. You can see by his nervousness.

~ Shawn's POV

I'm so nervous to meet her. What if her parents don't like me ? I'm so awkward.

As I get out of Cam's car, we walk to get the front door. Cam looks at me, "Okay, Shawn... She is inside of the house." And I nod with no expression. Eufrosina knocks the door.

The door is opened by the woman. I guess, it's Monica's mom. The woman asks me, "Hello, I don't know who you are. But, you are welcome here! My name is Melissa." she gives me her hand and I give her mine, we shake hand. I say, "I'm Shawn."

I walk in to sit in the living room with Cam and Eufrosina. The woman starts leaving us and she wants to take Monica to see us.

Cam and Eufrosina stare at me and they give me a stupid smile. What? Do I look weird? I don't care if I'm weird. I ask them, "What?" and they answer as they chuckle, "You should date her!" and I reply, "Yeah. But, I don't want anyone to know about Monica at school. This is kind of privacy" and Cam replies, "That's true. If people from school know about her. She will be bullied though no one knows her."

A few minutes later, there Monica comes with a cute knee dress. She moves her hands. I stand up to get closer over her.

She touches my chest, my arms and then she reaches my shoulders, she says, "Tall" and she continues to touch my face. I help her to know who I am, "Shawn" I say as I grab her ams.

She smiles. She asks me, "Are you coming with Cam and Eufrosina?" and I answer her, "Yeah" and she shows her smile again.

~ Monica's POV

So, I guessed it right because I just heard people talk to each other. I know that's Cam talking with Eufrosina. Shawn is standing while Cam and Eufrosina are sitting. To be honest, I like him so much but I'm too shy to tell him that I like him.

I say, "My aunt wanted to meet you and now you're coming because, I talked about you to my aunt!" and he said, "Is that your aunt? I thought it was your mom?" I shake my head as I reach his shoulder, "My parents... are dead".

Then he replies, "I'm sorry". But, I feel like aunt Melissa is such a mom to me. I don't know why I love my aunt so much.

~ Eufrosina's POV

Aw, look at them! I really want to see them happy together when they're dating.

Shawn should ask her out!

Well, I guess they would make a great cute couple.

Love is blind.

The blind is Monica and the love is Monica? Oh, FORGET THAT! I'm such a weird person of making those words.

I wonder how do blind people see their dreams when they sleep? Do they see colors?

When Shawn turns around to look at us, I move my lips to say, "Ask her out!" and he nods.

Please, SHAWN! PLEASE MAKE HER HAPPY!

He moves her hair and he asks, "Nic? Do you want to go out with..." he stops suddenly and he turns around to see us again, I move my lips, "With you, don't say with us!" and Monica asks, "With who?" I guess, Shawn is really scared of having her because she will be bullied if people from our school know her. He suddenly continues, "With me?" and Monica smiles. Yeah, she likes Shawn!

Then, she answers, "Sure! But, I still have a homeschooling tomorrow until 1 pm." and Shawn answers, "That's okay! Well, I have to go now. See you tomorrow!" he taps on Monica's shoulder.
