Unending Love

Chapter Three

I wish Henry will agree to keeping her cos I so much want a daughter. She might not be my biological daughter but she'll be my daughter. I'll treat her the same way I treat David.

I walked into the living room with Henry behind me. David and his babysitter were watching a Disney movie

"Baby, I'm home" I said calling his attention from the TV.

He squealed in delight and jumped into my arms.

"I missed you so much" he said and I laughed.

"I missed you and your troubles too" he frowned.

"I'm not troublesome" he said.

"No you're not. You just give me a lot of troubles" I said with a smile making him pout cutely.

"Thank you so much" I said to her as I gave her pay.

"Anytime Kate. Bye David" she said. David waved her with a smile.

"What did you do today?" I asked.

" Rosie and I baked cookies. We left some for you and dad" he replied.

"Sweetheart, we need to talk" Henry said.

I sat on the bed beside him. "About Christie....."he said.

At the mention of Christie my heart raced. I looked at him but I couldn't read his expression.

"What about her?" I asked.

"Well....."he said.

"Well, i was thinking she could stay with us. If its okay with you and David" Henry said.

I was over excited. My dream is coming true. Although she wont stay here forever, I'll have someone to call my daughter for 11 years. I hugged him.

"She can stay and I'm sure David wont object"I said.

I slept that night with joy.

"Baby, you're getting a younger sister" I said excitedly.

David's eyes lit up. "Wow, that's awesome" he exclaimed. "I'm so happy. I can't wait" he said

"We are going to the hospital today to see her" Henry said and David choked on his food.

I rushed to his side, gave him water and pat his back.

"I thought you were pregnant, how then is she in the hospital?"he asked after he had calmed down.

I laughed lightly. David was extremely smart.

"Actually, I'm not pregnant and I didn't birth her. She needs a family to take care of her" I said.

"If she's as beautiful as you are then I don't mind."he said.

"She's more beautiful than your mum" Henry said.

"Really?" he asked smiling. I gasped.

"I'm offended. I'm more beautiful" I said hiding my smile. David and Henry chuckled.

"Don't worry mom. You're very beautiful" David said making me smile.
