Chapter 18

Kayla's POV

I'm so excited

I just arrived onset for the best show in America

The Ellen show

I can't wait

In the past 2 years a lot has happened so I'm going to update you on a few things

• I quit X factor

• I got signed up to a record label once I quit X factor, they thought I had talent and they didnt want to waste it, sounds exactly like what the judges said at bootcamp huh

• my fan base started growing and I am now one of the biggest singers in the world

• I died my hair brown, I hated it blonde so annoying

• I lost a lot of weight

• me and my mum moved from Manchester to California, so much had happened in England, I wanted to leave it all behind

• I got my mum a new job, she is now my manager and travels everywhere I go and helps me with everything.

And really that's about it oh and I lost all connections to harry, I didn't need him, he didn't need me so it was for the best.

I keep missing out things, I haven't changed that much I'm still the clumsy fun loving girl I used to be.

My boyfriend is called Blaine he's amazing, he's always there for me when I need him. I met him when I first moved to California he was my neighbour, we was best friends at first we knew everything about each other but then he asked the question and of course I said yes. Ever since we have been inseparable.

Well back to the present

I was sat in a chair having my hair done ready for when i go on, my make up and hair artist, Sally, was curling my hair slightly, loose curls cascading down my slim back.

"How's Blaine, kayla?" Sally inquired. A small smile creeped its way onto my face as she mentioned His name. I looked up at her through the mirror that was in front of me.

"He's great, he's coming over tonight for a two week visit, I can't wait" I bounced almost in my seat. I haven't seen Blaine in over two months and its killing me.

"Aww that's great Hun, you two make such a great couple" she cooed, sweetly. Gently smiling while finishing my hair. I smiled widely at the mirror, looking at the reflections of people walking by in a hurry getting the show ready. Concentrated looks plastered on all of their faces.

"There you go, all ready" Sally stood back admiring her work before I stand up. "Just one last touch" she stated before I moved anywhere. She leaned over to the the table and grabbed a floral headband.she placed it around my head, making some last Minuit touches to my hair.

"Thanks Sally" she smiled warmly at me.

"Your welcome, go find your mom before she goes crazy" I nodded before wizzing of to go find my mum.

I waved back at Sally before someone grabbed my arm, my mum that was easy. I smiled up at her.

"Hey mum, I was just looking for you" she gave me a smile back before having to listen to her earpiece for information. She nodded before she focussed back on me.

"Hey sweetie you look great, anyway your on in two minuets so go wait over their until your introduced you know what to do" she spoke kindly but with a hint of sternness. I nodded and followed my mums order.

I waited at the side of the stage. This show was outside where all my fans can watch. I looked up at the post on which I was leaning on. Ooooh the show schedule, lets have a look shall we.

15:15: kayla Johnson, outside interview for 45 minuets

10 minuets break

16:10: one direction, outside interview for 45 minuets
