Chapter 3
Boot camp
I’m actually really nervous. Thousands of thoughts running through my mind.
What if I don’t get through? What if harry doesn’t remember me? What if he’s moved on and hates me for leaving him behind?
Stop it Kayla, but, no stop, ha-, NO STOP IT KAYLA!
Right, anyway they were calling out groups so we can sing against each other
“- Kayla Johnson and harry styles please” the assistant called out. Perfect just perfect I’m singing against my best friend.
We walked onto stage and … yeah you guessed it I’m next to Harry. I know what you’re thinking why aren’t I happy which I am but it’s just it’s been ages since I last seen him. It’s been six years since you have seen your best friend. How would you feel? We was inseparable when we was kids
“Harry will we always be best friends” I asked looking towards my best friend
“Kayla your like my sister, I will never leave you” harry replied we gave each other a hug but got interrupted.
“Kids dinners ready” Anne called out. I was staying over for dinner with harry today.
“Were coming mum” harry shouted “come on Kayla” he turned to me
“I’ll race you. On the count of five, 1, 2, 3-“
I didn’t let myself finished as I already set off leaving harry behind. I looked back to see harry chasing me
“Kayla you’re a cheat” we giggled running into Harry’s home
Harry started to sing. His voice WOW. I remembered how much I loved his voice even at the age of ten he had an amazing voice.
And I started to sing….
I could see harry staring at me smiling is there a chance he remembers me.
I finished the song and it ended with a round of applause from the judges.
We all walked backstage and I was engulfed in a bear hug. I looked up to see harry holding me. I missed his hugs.
“I missed you so much Kayla” harry said
“I missed you to harry, so much”
I knew this was a new start to mine and Harry’s friendship starting off where we finished.
