Chapter 1

Kota's Pov

"Yeah Boyyy!" I scream when we pull up to our new apartment

My Mom and I left my Dad after they had their divorce. It didn't really bother me though, I knew it wasn't right to live in pain, sadness and fear.

"Yes. Now be quiet and unpack the car. I'm going to sleep." She says

"K. Love ya." I say

"Yep you too." She says falling on the couch

This joint was already furnished! That is so dope.

I unpack the car since we didn't have much. We threw most of our stuff away so...

I feel my eyes droop when I get inside so I grab some of the covers we brought and cover my mom. Then I curl up on the floor next to the couch and cover myself.

I wake up to my mom shaking me. "Kota get up you got school!" She yelled

I literally jump off the floor! I run upstairs(that's where I put our shit), grab my clothes (In the Media) and a towel, then I run to the shower and strip as fast as possible. I take a quick shower, brush my teeth, wash my face, and throw my hair in a pony tail. Then slip on my clothes and shoes, and run back downstairs.

"Well that was quick."

"Well ya know." I say popping my collar

"Well Kota you got school." She says

I grab my phone and backpack, kiss my mom then head out. The school bus is off as soon as I get out. Great! Note the Sarcasm.

I start walking to the school. I was on school grounds in like 10 minutes. Ehh not that bad. But I'm completely lost. When I look around I see a breathtaking girl. I mean I literally couldn't breath for at least 5 seconds. When she catches me staring, she slightly blushes, slowly drops her head, and bites her lip. Then she excuses herself and approaches me.

"Damn." I mumble

The way she swayed those hips.

"Hi. I'm Zendaya Coleman. Most call me Zendaya." She says

"Sup, I'm Dakota James. Most call me Kota." I say

"Are you new?" She asks

I nod

"Well I could help you get around..."

I couldn't help but stare at her. Her pink plump lips and gorgeous eyes that I could get lost in...

"Kota, Kota." She says

"Hmm." I hum confused

She laughs at my stupidity "Come with me." She says grabbing my hand

"Fuck." I mumble

She pulls me into the high school

Zendaya's Pov

"Hi. I'm Zendaya Coleman. Most call me Zendaya." I say

"Sup, I'm Dakota James. Most call me Kota." She says

"Are you new?" I ask

She nods

"Well I could help you get around and you could have lunch with me" I say but it looks like shes zoned out

"Kota, Kota." I says

"Hmm." She hums confused

I laughs at her silliness "Come with me." I say grabbing her hand

"Fuck." I hear her mumbles

I thought the same when I felt butterflies and my nipples got hard.

"Shit."I say

I take her to the principals office. Principal Williams is cool but he has a bad attitude.

"Hey Principal Williams, this is Kota." I say

They exchange a hand shake and he hands her a piece of paper.

'Asshole' I thought

"What's wrong with that guy?"Kota asks when we get out in the halls

"He's an ass." I smirk

She busts out laughing

"What?" I say

"Who would have known someone could sound so sexy swearing." She says looking me deep in the eyes

I blush like an idiot"Umm let me see that paper." I say

She hands me the paper and continues to stare.

"Uhh we have all our classes together." I say blushing even harder

"Cool, we should probably get going." She says stepping up close to me

I'm just now recognizing she's as tall as me or taller. She has amazing features. Chocolate eyes, plump lips and a loose curled afro ponytail.

"Keep staring babe." She winks

I blush again. Damn she got me blushing.

She looks at the paper focused and walks toward my locker.

"Where are you going?" I ask

"To my locker." She says in a 'duh' tone

"Oh."

She puts in a code and opens it putting her backpack in the locker ,and leaving it open, she leans against it with one foot on the lockers . She turns back to me and grabs my hands. She examines my hands like a scientist to a new formula.

"You're beautiful." She finally says

I bite my lip and she groans "Sexy too." She adds

"Thanks you're sweet. You are actually really cute and adorable." I say with an unknown confidence

"I try." She says

I playfully roll my eyes

"Hey what are you doing with my girlfriend." Someone yells

I move from Kota and turn to see who it is.

Trevor.

Kota gets off the lockers just for Trevor to push her back on the lockers.

"I asked you question." He says

She looks at him and laughs.

He gives a confused look

"I'm not your girlfriend anymore. We broke up two weeks ago. You know that." I say

"You were serious?" He asks "I thought you just wanted space."

"No I'm done. All you care about is sex. I gave you all of me and that's all you cared for." I start tearing up

"You, you." He says before walking away

"Hey, he's funny-" She turns to see my cheeks wet "Where's the bathroom?"

I point to the bathroom and she grabs my hand, then drags me there. She pulls me into a stall and looks at me.

"Hey I'm here." She says wiping my face

I pull her into a hug. I cry like its the last thing I had. She holds me just as tight.

She wipes my face again but she ends up rubbing my lips. She dips down and kisses me. I kiss her back and I smile into the kiss. She pulls away with her eyes closed.

"Best first day of school ever." She says

I laugh and we walk out the bathroom. We grab our books and walk to class. She carried my books of course.
