Camila's Pov

After School

I walk home and Kota trails behind me. She doesn't think that I actually believe her. She continues to beat herself about it. She opens her door and I see another woman.

"Kota. How are you?"
"Mom?"
"Hi sweetie happy belated birthday."
"Mom?" She says before she shakes her head "Don't even start. You weren't here for me on birthday. I just moved away from family. What the hell was so important that important that you couldn't be here for my 16th birthday?" She finishes waiting for answer
"Kota I found someone." She says half someone
"That's nice. It really is but you hurt me." She says
"I'm sorry Kota." Her Mom breathes out
"Never mind ma." She says standing up a bit taller "I found someone too."
"Who?" She asks
"Camila Cabello. My girlfriend. The love of my life."
"What?" She asks
"I'm in love with this girl here." Kota says grabbing my hand
I blush and look at the ground.
"Her? A girl?" Her mom asks
"Yes ma. If you have a problem you need to say now." Kota says holding me closer
"I-. I need to take a walk."
Kota continues to look forward. She shows no emotion at all.
"Kota?" I say standing in front of her
"Yeah?" She says still no emotion
"What's going on in there?" I say rubbing my thumb on her hand
"Nothing." She says finally looking at me
I drag her up to her room and sit her on the bed. She stares at me and smiles slightly. I put my bags down and sit on her lap.
"What are you so happy about?"
"I'm still trying to figure out how I got so lucky to get you." She says tracing my collarbone
Kota is so affectionate and I can't get enough.
"I love you with my last breath. You're my first and last thought. I can't get enough of you Mila." Kota says slipping her hand under my shirt
I shiver at the touch. I close my eyes and Kota kisses my lips.
"I love so much Kota. I can't put it in romantic words like you but know that I'll love you for the of my living years and forever on." I say poking her nose
She laughs and buries her head in my chest.
"Guess what?"
"What?" She says not looking up
"I want a banana." I say crossing my arms
"I swear I fall for you everyday." She says squeezing my ass
"Stop you're making me blush and lose it." I say before she kisses my cheek then I peck her lips
When we get downstairs her mom was sitting on the couch. Kota had lost our previous happiness. She looked down not saying a word.
"Ma. I need you to understand I fell in love with someone who wants to love me." Kota says before straightening herself "I need the two most important women in life to get along ma. Please." Kota begs
Her mom gets up and approaches me.
"Hi my name is Michelle Khalid. I'm Kota's mom." She says putting out her hand
"Hi I'm Karla Camila Cabello. But I go by Camila or just Mila. But know I love your daughter deeply and that'll never change." I say with a big smile shaking her hand
Kota kisses my lips then hugs her Mom.
"I'm so happy you like one another. Now for pizza." Kota exclaims
"Yay!" I scream
We all get in Kota's car and drive to some pizza place. Kota opens my door then her ma's door. We go in and order a good ol' pizza.
"I love you guys so much." Kota says
"I love you too." Ms. Michelle says
"I love you more than words can explain." I say kissing her hand
Kota kisses each of my fingers and we continue eating.
