Being The Avenger's personal Doctor has always had its ups and downs sometimes it was easy as most of the time they tried to be as safe as possible when on missions but sometimes to get out of a mission with everything or after completing what they needed to do they did need to take some risks.

Having Shield help the avengers was useful it meant you would get more help as well as everyone else like if tony needed an extra pair of hands with upgrades or new suits but it was most helpful to you as you needed the help more often as some of the avengers had a higher tendency to get hurt than others and not only did they help but it helped shield because it got their medical staff training for them to have a higher understanding of what they had to do once they had completed all their training.

When they did eventually go on to the medical department at shield, once they had fully completed training and done the test that shield supplied. it helped their numbers grow and they were extremely grateful to have you as an agent not only but a well-known agent.

Obviously being an agent meant you could also do field work you weren't just a doctor after all when you were wanted out in the field you were amazing there are ratios on the shield system to prove it not only that but your level of clearance as well.

But of course with new Avengers recruits coming in you didn't get to do that much to say you had your work cut out for you was an understatement from simple bruises, and scratches to fractured bones and even broken ones with all sorts of damage whereas the Original Six where highly more experienced meaning you didn't have to worry about them too much except when it came to there training with their mentors then that leads to more medical problems stitches re-opening bandages that need re-doing but you wouldn't have it any other way they always welcomed you managed to put a smile on your face even when you were away from the people you care about.

 The bonus of today is that Natasha was bringing someone new to see if they want to join after looking around and getting to know the group she will end up seeing more often and of course to Tony that means he has a reason to throw a party to get all the avengers in one room together.

Getting up bright and early wasn't fun but that was your job so you did it because that was your job after all getting changed and then grabbing something to eat and drink thanks to Jarvis then making your way down to the lab/ medical lab the doors sliding open before you have reached them it didn't surprise you to see Bruse working on something while Jennifer looks like she was about to fall back to sleep.

"What are you two doing up?" Jen perks up at a new voice other than Bruse "Y/n! thank god you are up it was starting to get boring listening to Bruse" she says proving what you thought  "you're not usually up at this time Jen so I'm not surprised your bord" this makes Bruse laugh "she got you their fuzzball" "I told you to stop calling me that!" the two cousins continued to bicker.

walking over to your side of the lab and starting to sort out new medical supplies "Y/n?" "yes, Jen?" you say without having to turn around knowing it's her "so I found out that not many people know your last name well actually as nobody does but I tried to get them to tell me but no one will tell me I tried to bribe Natasha then Peter because he seemed like he would tell me because sometimes he can talk a lot-"

"Jen I might tell you in a bit but I need to finish sorting out these supplies and then get some ready for when Kate and Clint come back from the mission from last night and knowing them there going to be coming in complaining about a cut or something maybe not Clint but Kate definitely"

As if on cue Peter comes into the lab with an arm full of books most likely a homework book somewhere in the mass of books being followed by a certain golden retriever "lucky come here girl" you spoke kneeling down to the floor this makes her rush over to you her tail wagging frantically.

Reaching into the lab coat you put on once entering the lab pulling out a dog treat and giving it to her making her go off to her section of the lab and laying on the bed while eating the treat.

"uh... Mrs. Y/n?" "yes Pete?" "do you and Bruse mind helping me with my homework in a bit once I'm ready" "sure" both Bruse and you reply "thank you" Peter replies to both of you sending a smile to both of your directions.

As Peter walked away Jen piped up "did he just call you Mrs?!?" she says in shock but you just brush it off and continue what you were doing re-supplying draws and cupboards with medical supplies putting the new stuff at the back and moving the old stuff to the front leaving some things outputting it next to the main bedside table.

Clasping your hands together as you finish, turning to Peter and Bruse sat on stools next to each other as he explains something to Peter books and utensils are laid out across the island in the middle merging both labs together Bruse calls you over for help explaining the question to both you and peter then you help peter get the answer this happens for about an hour or so you and Bruse taking turns to help Peter.

Jarvis speaks up after a couple more minutes "Mrs. Y/n Barton and miss Bishop are back from their mission"  "okay send them down" "yes Y/n also it seems Natasha has also just arrived with the guest" "Okay Thank you, Jarvis" "Your very welcome Y/n" Lucky gets up from her spot making the doors all of a sudden open a bark is heard from the hallway "hey bud, ow careful" Kate's voice is heard from the hallway "come on Katie we need to get you patched up" Clint is heard he's voice getting closer until they walk through the doors.

"come on kate you first," you said paying the bed as she holds her side and limped over to you ''tell me where does it hurt" "everywhere" she spoke grumbling her answer "show me Katie" she sits up immediately pointing to her side "pull your shirt up then" you signal to her she does seeing a red gash on her side down to her hip god knows how it wasn't bleeding through her suit was a wonder of its own.

you started to tend to the wound cleaning it and then stitching it up "ow" she hissed "oh no is kate bishop hurt" a sarcastic comment came from the door making you look up the accent oh so familiar "Hello Doctor" Yelena spoke again a smirk on her face.

"Lena, Natasha," you say as the two walk over watching as you do the last stitch and put coverings over the wound Yelena puts her chin on your shoulder "Clint-" "I can clean clint up" Natasha offers "thanks any other wounds or all bruises and scratches?" you ask "nothing that a warm bath can't fix" "if you say so".

"wait wait wait-" Jen speaks walking over to you and Yelena "how do you know each other?- I mean you must right?- I mean your almost hugging-" "shut up green girl" Yelena says trying to get out of this conversation hooking her pinkie around yours and dragging you away you turn your head to double-check you put everything away seeing Clint and Natasha give you Two a knowing look while Jen stands their completely confused you giggle at the sight.

"I've missed you dorogoy" "I've missed you too my love" she gave you a kiss on the cheek as you both strolled towards the kitchen to do your favorite thing together cook or bake.
