Chapter 7

Hey guys so I've decided that I'm gonna add a bonus chappie to Story Of My Life. I've thought a lot about it and I've seen other stories where they do that. I find them quite enjoyable; its kinda having a flashback in one whole chappie. So after this update be watchin for a bonus chappie to Story Of My Life.

Also chappie may not be as long, I was sent home with high possibility of having strep. 😕

Liam's Pov

"Where is she?" My voice shouts as my hands twist in his cotton shirt.

"I-I don't know." He stutters.

"Don't give me that bullshit! You know exactly where she is." Readjusting my hands as I slam him against the wall again. "Now I asked where is she?" I demand.

"Like I said I don't know, all she told me was she needed time away from here."

"Gary I swear to god don't make me bash your head in till you tell me." i threaten him.

"O-okay I'll t-tell you."

Finally this tosser gives up. "Well aren't Ya gonna say something?"

"She went to America."

"Why?"

"She couldn't handle knowing that you didn't believe that she was alive"

"I do now!"

Pulling at the ends of my hair. Angry cries fly out of my mouth. Tears fall from my eyes. "I'm going to go get her."

"You can't Liam. She needs time."

"She's a 14 year old girl in America all alone." I shout.

"She's not alone." Gary squeaks out.

Turning around I face him. "What do you mean she's not alone?" My voice low and husky. My eyes train on him.

"She's with the BAU in Quantico, Virginia."

"Why?"

"She was sent there a year after it all happened. They wanted to question her but in the sake of their own environment. So I put her on a plane and went about my business. I got a call a couple weeks after she's been there. They were questioning me about Genevieve. Varying from her anger issue to how she began to react to everything about getting her home."

"So she's there, with federal agents?"

"Yes, she's safe." Gary confirms.

"I swear to god if any harm comes to my little Genevieve, I'm blaming you." Glaring at him, I leave.

Putting the key into the ignition I twist. The car hums to life. Putting it in drive, I press the gas.

My thoughts begin to swim around my heavy head. That still doesn't answer on why she didn't come and tell me sooner? Tell me that she was alive. Pressing the brake, I come to a stop at a red light. My hands repeatedly hit the steering wheel in complete anger.

Frustrated tears fall from my squeezed shut eyes. Trailing down my cheeks I begin to sob. I screwed everything up. I let my little GenBug get out of my stretching reach. Pulling into the driveway, I shut the car off. Wiping my wet cheeks, I just sit there.

Finally getting enough courage I open the door. Slamming it shut I drag my body towards the front door. Twisting the knob open I step in. Taking my jacket off and placing it on the hook I just stand there.

God I messed up big time. Wondering to the kitchen I see a note. Picking it up I read it.

Hey Liam,

We went grocery shopping and a hunt for the new movie that came out. Don't know when we'll be home.

Crumpling the paper up and throwing it in the trash can. Getting a water bottle from the fridge, I take gulps. Devouring the cold, clear, liquid.

Throwing that in the trash i trudge through the house. My eyes stare at the college of pictures on the wall.

"Li Li!" Genies voice giggles through the house as someone chases her.

"What?" I shout from the living room. My hand clicks through the channels. Nothing's good on.

"Danielle won't stop chasing me, along with the lads." she shouts as I hear her feet pound on the wooden floor.

Getting up I go find Genie. I see her in the hallway running up and down, around and through people's legs. "What's going on here?"

Everyone freezes. "We're trying to get Genie dressed for the dinner tonight."

"Come here Gen, lets get you dressed." she comes running to me and hops into my arms. Her legs wrap around my waist.

I can feel their eyes on me and Genie as I walk away. "Liam she just stuck her tongue out at us." Harry cries.

Pulling Genie away from me. She gives me an innocent smile and her eyes twinkle. "Li Li I would never."

"I know, just ignore them." Her laugh is like music To my ears.

Pulling the black dress over her small body. It goes down to her knees and has short sleeves that barely go past her shoulders. Giving her a jacket, her favorite blue jean one. It soon covers her arms. Getting her sandals out, I help her get them on the right feet. Brushing through her once knotted hair. I place a headband, pulling the hair that's always in her face, away.

"There, you look stunning." I tell her. She does a couple twirls and ends with one of her hands on her hip and the other in the air. Her eyes are squeezed shut as her lips are in a pout.

Quickly snapping a picture. Sliding my phone into my pocket, I stare at my reflection in the mirror. Fixing my patterned tie and black shirt.

"Come on Li Li you take longer than Bubba."

I chuckle. "Alright I'm coming." Grabbing my jacket I follow Genie.

"Ooh look at you two. Fancy." Danielle's in awe of Genie. I mean who wouldn't be? She's a cutie.

"Where's Perrie and El?"

"There meeting us there pumpkin." Louis tells her.

"Ok everyone picture." Dani instructs.

We all gather around as Genie stands in front of all is us. Bending down we huddle around her. "okay perfect. Oh that's a keeper."

Looking at the picture we're all smiling but what gets me is how big Genie is smiling. She's showing off all her teeth, a couple missing. Like I said before, cutie.

"I want one with Dani."

"Okay GenBug." I laugh and quickly snap the picture. Gens holding onto Danielle's leg as Dani looks down at her smiles.

"Liam." A voice yells at me.

Looking away from the pictures I see its Niall. "Hey you okay?"

"Yeah just reminiscing." I tell him as I point at the collage.

"Good or bad?"

"Most definitely good." A smile forms on my mouth.

For a bit we just stood in silence. "Oh we found that movie."

"Fast and Furious 7?"

"Yep that's the one. Wanna watch it with us?" Niall's head cocks to the side just like Genies use to.

"Course let me make some popcorn."

Taking one last glance, I walk away.
