Chapter 14

Genevieve's Pov

The knife falls to the ground as I follow in pursuit. Trembling hands grip onto my elbows as I rock. Sobs escape my mouth as hands rub my back as another set grab my hands, tearing them away from the small knobs they clung to. I begin to fight them. Screams and loud pleas along with my hurting cries does everything in their power to escape. I try to relieve their hold.

"Please." I implore. "No." I sob as I shake my head back and forth.

"It's okay, you're okay. You're safe now, nothing, nobody can hurt you." A soft voice whispers into my hair. My dirty, filthy brunette hair.

"Li Li?" I whimper, shuddering away from home the delicate touch. My voice cracks, it being dry from the lack of water.

"He's waiting for you."

Looking up through my soaked eyelashes and into her bright, blue eyes. Thoughts rummage their way through my head. He's gonna think I'm a murderer, a killer. He's not gonna love me or want me, nobody is. "H-he's..." My voice wavers as the stuttering stops. "No...no...no no no." I rush out, standing up.

My balance betrays me causing me to fall to the ground. My hands grinding the dry, dirt in my filthy hands. Tears pour out as my brain continues to play what just happened over and over again. It's never stopping. It's on constant repeat, forever ongoing.

"Genie....." Looking up from the lumpy ground to Reid's face. "We gotta get you looked at. You've succumbed to some serious injuries."

Slowly nodding I accept his hand as he pulls me up. My body crashes into his as I cling onto him for balance. "I've got you." He tells me as his hands grip mine as he begins to guide me through the dark forest.

Lights begin to illuminate my beaten face. My heart race speeds up to a faster pace then it needs to be. Everything happens at once. Dizzily looking around I see Liam's brunette hair and I'm off in a daze sprint. Everything blurs around me as I impact my body to his. Sobs rush out as I block out everything but his knowing voice that soothed all my night mares away.

"My little Genevieve, oh my little Genevieve." He continues to repeat over and over again.

His hand caresses my head as hands wrap around my waist and I'm being tugged away.  I scream bloody murder. It echoes through the chaotic night. My hands are reaching out and grasping together at Liam. "Li Li!" I cry loudly.

"Hey, hey it's okay."

A voice tell me. I chose to ignore it as I continue to kick and scream. Struggling in the rather delicate hold. "Genevieve, it's okay." I hear Morgan's voice tell me.

"Li Li!" I scream. My hands push themselves out towards Liam's sad stance. I watch Liam talk to Hotchner. Soon he's jogging after me.

"Here, lay down." A guy in a uniform softly presses me down by my shoulders. I fight him.

"Genevieve, you need to lay down honey." Swinging my head to the left, I see it's JJ.

"No, please. I'm scared. They're going to hurt me." I tell JJ.

"Oh, baby nobody's gonna hurt you. They're here to help." She tells me as she takes my hand and runs circles onto my palm.

"You don't understand. I'm scared. They've hurt me before." I strangle out.

Straps are being tugged over me and I'm being held down. My body's constricted, no movement. I let my sobs take over. My body's become fatigued as my fighting becomes slower and weaker. A needle is stuck into my arm. I flinch. My eyelids flutter as I've become tired.

"Please...." I beg breathlessly.

My eyelids close as I feel my body being jostled around due to bumps.
