My dad was making things so awkward for me and Austin. He was asking so much questions, poor Austin probably feels like hes being interviewed by the police. Of course Austin being the lovely man he is he doesnt mind. "So Austin how long have you been seeing My gorgeous daughter." My dad smiled and cupped my face with his hand. "Dad we're arent together." I sighed and stuffed some pasta in my mouth. "Also this sauce is devine Abby, please tell me the recipe!" I say enthusiastic trying to change the topic.
After that awkward encounter, me and Austin went up to my room. "You have a cat?" He said staring at honey. "Yes shes the love of my life." I picked up honey and gave her loads of kisses and hugs. I took a seat on my bed and put Honey on my lap, stroking her back. "I hate cats." Austin sat down next to me. "Well honeys a special cat. Dont you dare say you hate cats infront of her or she'll get vicious." I giggled and placed a kiss on her head. "You know I had a cat that looked just like her when I was younger, but it got hit by a car." Austin laughed. I couldn't help but laugh aswell, sometimes when 2 awkward people meet and an awkward conversation happens all you have to do is laugh and smile and we'll forget about it after 2 seconds.
Me and Austin were talking for a good while until he was scrolling through Instagram and he got a message on his phone from a girl named Vanessa, and the text said 'I miss you baby.' The second he got the notification he looked back at me. I wanted to cry. "Wait Julia its-" he tried to excuse himself but I just couldn't, not right now. "No. Whats it this time, shes your sister? Cousin maybe? Get out." I was losing patience with this man. "Wait plea-" he tried to put his arms around me. "Dont touch me." I had a plump in my throat. "JULIA FUCKING LISTEN." Austin shouted at me. I got spooked,I wasnt expect it. "YOU WANNA FUCKING SHOUT, OH I CAN PLAY THAT GAME TOO." I shouted back, louder. My dad came in, not even knocking. "Austin I think its time you leave." My dad was furious, he'll do anything to protect me. Austin got up off the bed. "Im sorry Julia." He seemed so genuine. "I-" I got a voice crack and my eyes started to tear up. Austin walked out of my room my dad closing the door behind him. I felt bad for reacting the way I did, I should have let him explain.
I was crying for a couple of minutes until I heard a knock on the door. "Go away." "Knock knock" sam pecked her through the door before coming into my room. She placed her bag carefully on the ground. "Oh baby.." she walked towards me with her arms wide open before crashing eher body next to mine and pulling me into her arms. We sat up on the bed so I was leaning side ways into her chest, she had one arm at my shoulder and the other rubbing my head. I started crying in her arms. I knew this wasnt just about Austin yelling at me. I cant handle when people yell at me it makes me angry, and when im angry i cry. However this was a mix of anger and sadness and maybe a bit of guilt. "Im so stupid sam." I sobbed into her chest.
"No Julia dont say that, youre the smartest, kindest,funniest and fucking hottest bad bitch I've ever met in my life. You shouldn't be crying over Austin. Look Julia, you had an argument, so what? We've had so much arguments, we worked our way around them and look at us now, closer than ever. Its normal to argue, friends argue. Everyone argues, just because you guys had one argument that doesnt mean its the end, ok baby? If you want Ill text Austin off your phone. Julia I love you so much and it hurts me to see you like this over one silly short ass argument." Her voice went a bit high pitch at the end.
"I love you so much more sam." I hugged her tighter. She grabbed my phone and got in cause she knows my password, she texted Austin. "Hey Austin, can we talk." She read out what she was saying while typing it.
"Ok Julia now pull yourself together."
Sam started doing up my makeup while giving me some advice. "everything doesn't last forever like youre gonna get over things, and things are gonna stop like you can only be sad for so long until youre like fuck this." She smiled while applying some lipliner on my lips. "My gorgeous girl." She bopped my nose and we both laughed.
She had finished up my makeup and just finished tieing a bandana on my head. "lets go take some photos for Instagram and show Austin what hes missing." She stuck her tongue out and jumped off my bed holding her hand out for me take. "Shouldn't i take off his jacket first?" I took ahold of her hand. "Absolutely not, show that you at least still care girl" she was dragging me to the bathroom. She snatched one of em old cameras from her bag and we took a good 20 billion photos and only ended up posting 2..
