He was looking in the most random places, just anywhere that wasnt my eyes.

************ Austin and I are gonna go out for dinner today so he left to get ready cause well the clothes he has here arent very "fancy restaurant" material.
I was digging through my closet looking for clothes and i found nothing.
I am furious, but now that there is another woman in the house whos only like 39 she might have some clothes.
I walked of my closet and made my way to my dad and abbys room, hoping to see abby at least.
I knocked on their door.
"Come in"
I heard abby say.
I slowly opened the door "hey" I smiled.
"Oh sweetheart, come sit!"
She moved her laptop off her lap and patted down on the bed.
I sat down on the edge of the bed and gave her a smile, she was smiling back.
"Are you ok honey?" She scouted closer to me.
"Oh yeah yeah sorry I was wondering if you had any cute dresses i could borrow, Im going out for dinner with austin and I need something nice."
"Actually..I do." She got off the bed and walked to the closet and took out an unopened box.
She carried it over to the bed and placed it down next to me.
"I forgot to give it to you actually, I bought it for you." I leaned in a placed a small kiss on my forehead.
This girl is amazing, I dont know why I didnt particularly like her. Shes so nice to me.
"You really didnt have to.." I looked down at the designer box what was on the bed.
I didnt get her anything, I feel bad.
"No I did, you were very accepting with me." She said sternly and sat down at her originally position.
"Well open it! Let me know what you think!" She smiled widely at me.
I took a deep breath and took off the lid kinda thing.
My jaw dropped. There lay a folded black dress with a cut at the thigh that had dangling gold jewellery looking things filling it in.
"Oh my god Abby..its beautiful." I picked up the dress and when i say Ran i mean Ran, to the full body mirror in their room and held it up to my body.
She laughed. "You're gonna look gorgeous,like you always do." She smiled.
I walked backk to the bed and placed it back into the box.
I walked over to abby and gave her a hug.
Maybe I shouldn't have been so difficult with her, shes lovely.
************** I tried on the dress and it looked absolutely stunning.
I was almost ready to go I was just finishing my makeup and I needed to put on my heels.
I picked up my heels off the floor and brought them to my bed and sat at the edge while putting them on.
I was walking out my room and I heard Abby shouting "Dont you want a photo for the gram?" I laughed and went into her room.
"If you wouldnt mind" I smiled
She took a quick picture of me and I was waiting and the end of the stairs waiting for Austin. I decided to post the picture while I waited

************ While I was waiting on Austin I decided to go on tiktok.
All of a sudden I felt my phone vibrate in my hands. It was a text from Austin.
'Sorry I cant make it tonight.' Is all it said.
