Rue slowly got up, pulling Isaac up with her. They stared at the trees for a moment, and then suddenly they heard another roar. Both of them had closed their ears in fright, and once the roaring was gone, they began to walk away from their spot.
"Where are we going to go? We can't even find our way back in this maze," Rue said.
"Don't worry my princess," Isaac said while kissing her, "We will get out of here I promise!"
"I see something. It's like a forest of light and darkness. It was made into a maze, but something is off about it. Be careful now."
Those words echoed into Isaac's head, but he buried them down with the thought of determination. However, there is only one key to getting out of this labyrinth. You need to kill the dragon
{Isaac POV}
Rue and I walked directly strait forward, hoping that we would find our way out of here. The sky was almost black, and the trees sparkled in the light of the moon. Rue's eyes gazed at the beautiful leaves on the trees. Her beautiful eyes gave me a smile on my face. We can definitely get out of her. I have no doubt in my mind.
After a few minutes of walking around, we suddenly noticed that we had been walking in the same circle the whole time. We are a pretty shameful pair if I must say myself.
"I believe we should just sleep here for the night. Maybe in the morning we will have a better chance at seeing our way out of here!" I reassured Rue. Rue smiled and lay on the ground. She slowly shut her eyes, and she put her hand on mine.
"I hope we become more in love," she said. She then fell asleep, leaving me awake to look after her.

After many hours of walking around finding an exit to this horrible labyrinth, we sat down to rest. We both gazed into the scenery, and noticed the many different animals here. These animals were not the ones I've seen neither in the kingdom nor in Germany. There were many walking pigs, birds with four wings and a long tail, fish that moved on land, butterflies with more than two wings, and many other exotic animals. Rue loved to play with the pigs; however I just stood away from them. I wasn't really fond of animals after I was kicked out of the kingdom. We soon came to hear the noise of chariots trailing behind us. The noise had made us to move to a new location, however when we stopped at a tree it was suddenly lit on fire! A soldier came riding us to ask, and then he abruptly asked us questions.
"Why have thee come here?" the soldier asked. I can only lie.
"We came to advance towards the country of Germany," I replied. Rue hid behind me in fear.
"Alright," the soldier said, "Oh, and if you see a soldier in purple armor, they are from the kingdom of Rome. Kill them immediately," the soldier said. I nodded and he rode away. While he was riding, I got a gaze at his face, and my eyes widened at the similar face he had to Tibius. For all the knowledge I had, he could be Tibius after all. However, I can't assume things too quickly. I tapped Rue, and we both got up.
"What are we going to do?" Rue asked."Right now, we have to find a resting place," I replied. Rue nodded at my statement and we walked around for a little bit. Once we had walked for a few minutes, Rue noticed that there was a camp set up nearby. We slowly crept into it, hoping that they would accept us.
All of the army was in the camp. There were red tents, so I had a hypothesis that these were men from England. Rue and I snuck behind the biggest one (which is the General's tent) and we overheard an important conversation.
"What do you mean there is no way out?!" a guy yelled.
"A fond lady told me about the forest. It turns out that there is no way out, and that there is a huge dragon in this place," another guy said. It must've been Old Helen. Did that boy really believe her?
"You idiot! There is no way a dragon exist here," the other guy yelled in fury. I would guess by his voice that he was the general.
"But Sire..." the boy continued.
"Silence! I don't need anymore of this foolishness. Leave at once!" the general yelled. The boy came out the tent. Rue and I ran away from the camp and started talking about their conversation.
"It can't be true that a dragon exists here, right?" Rue said in panic.
"No, it is absolutely false. No need to worry," I replied. I was actually the wrong one
A huge shaking of the ground had caused us to stumble. Purple fire started rushing down towards the camp. Is the dragon real? Rue and I ran even farther, trying to escape from the fire. However, the shaking continued for about a few minutes. We sat to rest after our long escape.
"Purple fire is not an usual thing," Rue said, "Ther-There has to be a dragon."
"But..." I replied. A dragon was the only reasonable answer at the moment. Plain logic could not figure out the purple flames, so a dragon is logical. But why is it here? And what does it want with us?
