I had sat down pondering in my desk chair staring blankly at my textbooks I couldn't get her out of my head, the same scene replayed in my head over and over again constantly.

"You're leaving..because you're ashamed of me..."

I had shook my head rubbing my forehead flipping through my textbooks underlining and highlighting things, well important facts based on the project I was working on.

I have always been skeptical of magic, especially when it is performed by an older man who comes in carrying a magic wand and waving it around, or when they pull a cloth or an animal out of their hat.

I have never been a believer, weather it was Christmas, superstitions, or even vampires. Though that last one changed rather quickly, when I met someone who was quite different from anyone else I had met before. I mean different in the literal sense--she told me she was human with teeth that were sharpened to a point. Of course, I later found out that was not true.

I enjoyed her company, late night walks and observing the moon, Heck even trying things shes never done before, but I felt lonely when she left so soon, around 3- am or so but it was very frequent. Our relationship wasn't very open, nor did I tell anyone about it Just between us. However, the stress built up over time.

I was constantly worrying that someone would walk in on us or Find out That I had fallen in love with a creature that most people do not believe exists. I feared people would think I'm paranoid and Just seeing things out of mid air.

My thoughts were interrupted by a sudden knock on the door.
"It's open"

I smiled turning around Viewing my current girlfriend's holding flowed in her hand and a huge Starbucks latte I didn't drink them often but usually on days where I feel the most stressed.
"Studying going well?" She asked grabbing another chair sitting next to me rubbing my back.

"I guess? I haven't really been able to focus" she sighed staring at the textbooks in front of me.
she chuckled sliding the textbook away from me while I faced her.
"why not go for a walk, hm...? clear that cluttered head of yours" she smiled pecking her lips slightly.

It's been a few months since we got together she went by the name of Sabrina, We met online playing a video game together realizing we went to the same university since then we've always hung out around one another non-stop.

I had chuckled slightly getting up following her out of my dorm room walking down the hallway. A few incidents have been happening around lately of students going missing and being found with pools of blood or bite marks, I found it odd but also Suspicious surly those people who were attacked unfortunately where dead

"Hey! I'll be back I've gotta use the restroom" she said with a light smile walking down toward the restrooms while I waited. within that time I scrolled through my phone on the socials seeing what my few other peers were up to I laughed quietly at a few of the post Trey had made My science partner.

Time had moved by quickly , I was growing Worried about where Sabrina was or if she was alright. I had assumed she ate way too much from the restaurant she had went to with her team last night for their team dinner, I chuckled to myself at the thought, Usually Sabrina would answer as soon as possible whenever I messaged her it was odd that she hadn't answered any of my text Which I had sent 7 minutes beforehand she would've been out in 2.5 seconds.

I waited a few more minutes before walking down towards the hallway opening the woman bathroom door calling out her name, I didn't even hear a sound.
"Sabrina...?" called out walking fully inside the bathroom.

I filched hearing a familiar chuckle from the far stall.
I had stood where I was not daring to move any further.

"Who is it!" I shouted grabbing on the door handle preparing myself to sprint.

I saw a shadow walking from the back stall towards me.
"S-Stay BACK!" I stuttered slightly out of fear hearing the foot steps.

By the time the figure had approached me I was beyond shocked, she laughed with a wide smirk spread across her face, eyes filled with pure anger.

"Miss me?"
