(Another very short one :P)

All around me was the sound of people running, trying to escape the tragedy I had created. My words had come to life and become reality, which was something I never expected.

I checked my surroundings before I sprinted away from the house. It used to be covered in blooms and porch decorations, but now it was littered with shattered glass and debris from the fire that was blazing out the roof. The ground was covered in debris from the fire, including shattered glass. I was still in my mario-covered socks when I stepped on a shard. I winced in pain and quickly removed the glass. My hands were shaking from the sudden movement and pain.

I had no choice but to continue no matter how bad it hurt.

I had slowly gotten up running through the dirt path that would hopefully lead to the woods or another shelter but that was impossible since most of the infection was in the area.

I was covered in dirt and leaves from falling and running, my face dirty and preventing me from washing it. I had collided with something while running that didn't look human. It let out a roar and tried to grab me, but I quickly dodged it. I looked in the other direction and it chased after me, surprisingly quick.

I was shocked that I had managed to create monsters. It was unfathomable to me that they could be alive. I sprinted away from them until I fell over a rock, rolling down the hill and into a pile of leaves.

I was panting and tried to catch my breath as I looked up at the moon. I sat up, brushing the dirt and stains off my shirt. I headed toward the direction where the moonlight had shined. the leave crunched beneath me within every step.

I thrust my hands into my pockets as the cold air began to bite. I occasionally coughed as I continued walking.

I heard a shuffle coming from behind . I stopped turning behind. I had shifted my eyes quickly around the area before continuing to walk, I had assumed I was alone but I was clearly wrong, my vision began to blur and I immediately passed out. The last few things I heard were the sounds of voices and a shotgun readying up.
