The Chinise Lantern Festival<3

Xiao's POV

As we went inside the Chinise Lantern festival (finally found a name for it.) , We both saw alot of fancy decorations, food, and other stuff.

"Ooh this place is so pretty!" Aether said, with his eyes sparkling.

"Mhm." I replied.

To be honest, I was just focusing on Aether being mesmerized by everything in this festival.

"This is pretty!" Aether said, while looking at the item with his eyes sparkling again.

"What is it?" I replied.

"Oh this is a heart necklace! It's a half heart which means there must be another half....Excuse me mam? Is there another half of this necklace?"

"Oh, hm..let me check.." the lady said.

"Found it! Here's the other half."

"Ooh thanks!" Aether said.

"Hey Xiao, can we get these?"

"Oh uh...sure."

I pulled out my wallet from my pocket, then Aether suddenly spoke.

"Okay! Hold on I'll pay, because you payed for our food at the cafe earlier."

"Alright, fine." As I put my wallet back in my pocket.

"Okay sir, the price is 10,000 mora."

"Alright!" Aether said, as he payed for the necklaces.

Aether put one of the necklace on, and he spoke.

"Here Xiao! Wear this other half!" Aether said.

"Oh, sure."

As Aether put the other necklace on my neck, he took out his phone to take pictures.

"Smile!!" Aether said.

"Okay-?" I replied.

I did a small smile, then Aether spoke.

"Oh come on, I know you can smile bigger than that!"

"Fine.."

I smiled slightly bigger and Aether spoke again.

"There it is!"

Aether took the picture, and posted it on his page.

I saw that he typed the caption "We're at the Chinise Lantern festival, definitely gonna have lots of fun here!"

"Okay, so where to next?" Aether said.

"Hmm..maybe the place where we make our own lanterns...?" I replied.

"Sure! Let's go there!"

"Alright."

We walked towards the place, then we started making our own lanterns.

We both got 1 lantern each, and started painting some designs on it.

I wrote the words "With my Aether, In this Chinise Lantern Festival."

I saw that Aether wrote "I'm with Xiao today, in this very pretty festival! I hope everyone enjoys this Chinise Lantern Festival!"

So then, it was almost time to lift the lanterns in the sky.

Aether took a quick picture of us holding our lanterns.
He posted it on his page, and typed the caption "About to lift the lanterns, so excited!"
