Flashback continues-
Arjun's POV:
"How dare you all badmouth Sakshi?", I literally snarled at them.
"She is not a bad omen, it was just a mess formed just to save someone's life", I continued.
"She is a girl with a very good heart then how can you all call her a bad omen?", I shouted.
"Oh really if she is a good girl then marry her", one of the lady mocked me.
"Sakshi let's get married. Don't worry about your future and happiness because I promise that they would be safe with me. You will be safe with me", I said genuinely.
"Sakshi I would kill myself and your mother if you don't marry him", Shiraj uncle again threatened her.
"Don't you dare to threaten her again", I warned.
"No baba please don't say like this", Sakshi pleaded.
"If you don't want to hear all these then marry him and save rest of my reputation", Shiraj uncle said angrily.
"I will marry him but please don't think of all those bad things", Sakshi cried.
"Let's start the marriage then. There is another auspicious time after 5hours so at that time the other bride and groom can also get married", The priest said and started chanting mantras.
"Wait I have called and ordered a lehenga and few jwellery which are going to come in half an hour so can the marriage procedure wait for sometime?", My mother asked.
"Yes yes", The priest replied.
After sometime,the lehenga and jwellery came, mom took Sakshi with her .
Sakshi entered after getting ready. Although she was looking very beautiful but her smile is missing.
Slowly slowly our marriage procedure got over and priest declared us newly married couples and after that Sooraj and Devika also got married.
"Sakshi please eat something", Mom said.
"Malini ji there is no need of giving her any food. Because of her our reputation got turnished so it would be better if she doesn't get to eat anything. As I can't abandon my only daughter as a punishment so this is her punishment.", My mother in law said.
"Why are you giving her punishment? It's not her fault", Mom said.
"Yes she doesn't deserve it maa", I said.
"I never came between you and your son then why are you coming between us? And Arjun please don't interfere.", Anita maa said.
"But..", mom was cut off by Anita maa.
"Sakshi come with me. You have to stay with me until you leave so that no one can give you food", Anita maa said eyeing us.
"Anita maa but try to understand...", I was cut off by Sakshi.
"Can you please shut up", Sakshi said calmly.
"Arjun, where is Sakshi? Is she ok?", Sooraj came out of nowhere and asked me.
"No her mother didn't let her eat anything as a punishment", I said.
"Everything happened because of me. I don't want to see her like this please we have to do something. I can't see her in so much pain", Devika cried.
"Everything happened because it was written on her fate we can't do anything", Sooraj said.
"But now we can. Let's send her off abroad so that she could complete her studies and then she would have a job their and would be happy forever", Devika said.
"Why are you saying this all? Your words are more focused on Sakshi where both Sakshi and Arjun is suffering. Think about him too. Sakshi will go abroad and settle down but what about Arjun? What will he do?", Sooraj questioned.
"Sooraj calm down", I said.
"Do you think Arjun bhaiya is going to suffer? O my boy open your eyes and see that everyone is pointing fingers on Sakshi's character. Open the news channel and see the repoters are making your Arjun look like the victim", Devika said.
"What news channel?", I asked totally shocked.
"Yes news channel, go turn on the tv and watch the news", Devika said.
Hey guys sorry for not updating for nearly two months. I didn't had any intentions for not updating but my mother was severely ill and was hospitalized for 1.5 months. She got discharged last day and today we arrived at our house in these evening. She was suffering from an infection in her bone marrow which was why she was having fever of 100°F-104°F everyday. Our local doctors were not able to detect the disease so we went Vellore for her treatment and their her disease got diagnosed. So now after her treatment, she is fine but just a little weak. I hope you guys will understand my problem.
Since I had arrived this evening, I am very tired so today's update is short.
