Chap 10

It was my birthday today. Whenever its someones birthday, papa lets them have a free time for a day.

I was in my room laying down. The time was 6:24. A sudden barge came into my room and I shot up seeing who was the person who barged in out of no where. "Happy birthday 009." Papa said while walking towards me. "Thank you papa" I replied with no emotions. "You already know that today you will have a free time but also." He sits down on my bed. "But also what papa?" I questioned. "You'll be an orderly from now onwards and will be sharing a room with someone ok?" he clarified while staring into my soul. "But dont worry. Being an orderly isnt that bad. You just have to watch over the kids in the rainbow room. thats all. And if anything bad happens, tell me and that person will be taught a lesson alright?" I nodded. "Alright. At 7 a.m, Peter will assist you on what to do" he continues. "Yes papa" "and from now on, you'll address me as Dr Brenner." I replied with "yes pa- Dr Brenner." He stood up and left my room.

I laid back down on my bed and wonder If it really is easy to be an orderly. Well since its 6:30 already, I'll just do some drawings until Henry comes.

7 a.m has come and I was still drawing. And at that exact timing, someone knocked on my door and I knew it was Henry. I got up from my chair and opened the door. "Well I guess Dr Brenner has explained to you what is going on today right" I nodded. He smiles and said "happy birthday love" I smiled softly. he took my hand and went off to a new room. I guess its my shared room with 'someone'. Henry closes the door as I walked around. Still small but bigger then the patients room. It had two beds, a bathroom and a wardrobe. I guess I'll be sharing the wardrobe with my roommate. "So over here you have your wardrobe." He says pointing his finger at the wardrobe. "What does my clothes look like?" I asked. He walks to the closet and opens it. He points at the right side of the closet and I see a white blouse button up top with a white high waist baggy jeans. "Oh ok thank you" I smiled. "Oh and by the way your sharing the room with me" I blushed and nodded "lets go to where the orderlies have their break" he takes my hand and walked out of the room.

The break room was pretty near just a few steps away. "And we have arrived madam" he jokes. I laughed slightly. Like a gentleman he is, he opens the door and motions me to go in first. "Hey Henry what do I call you?" I whispered while we walk to a couch. "Call me Peter sweetheart. When we are alone, you can call me Henry alright?" He whispered back and sat down on the couch. I nodded and said "what now Peter?" I smiled. He looks at me and said "firstly, your going to get change alright? Then after when your done, we'll go to the rainbow room." He smiles and takes my hand again.

We went back inside the room and he turned around allowing me to change. After I was done changing I tapped his shoulder and he turns around. "Darling you look so gorgeous. Its sad I cant do anything to you right now" I blushed and hit his arm playfully. He laughs and kisses my forehead. "Lets go yeah?" I nodded and took his hand. "Lets go bae" I let go of his hand and cling onto his arm. He chuckles and opens the door once again

"Fuck I forgot we cant show that we are.. together?"  I backed away and just held his hand. "Yes love we're together." I looked at him but he just looked infront.

Once we reached the rainbow room, he pulled me behind the room and we stood there. "Its litterally all you got to do. Get up at 6 or 7 a.m because work starts at 8 then go to the break room to have breakfast or just stay in the room and do your stuff. At 8 you go to the rainbow room." He whispers. "I understand." I replied. I could see that Henry might've liked the reply I gave him because I could see a little smirk coming from his lips. "Anyways, when the kids follows Dr Brenner out, we follow them by behind. Is that alright?" I nodded and looked at the kids. I spotted Eleven staring at the both of us. She noticed and starts to walk to Henry. "Mr Ballard?" She questioned. "Yes dear?" "Why is Nine like you?" Henry then replied with "oh papa said that whenever pupils here turns 20, they will be like us!" She looks at me and said "Nine? Its your birthday?" She asks. "Yes Eleven" I smiled. "Happy birthday!" She smiles and went back to her spot "I thought Dr Brenner would give me a free day" he chuckles and said "maybe he'll give you a day off tomorrow?" "Maybe?" I sighed.

Just then, I heard the heavy door open. And theres the man waiting for the children to line up. The children lined up and Henry and I followed behind them. "Ok Children. Today will be another normal day and also will be including the new test from yesterday. I hope you all enjoy yourself and most importantly, behave." He says as his voice lowers. "Hey (Y/N)?" Henry whispers as we walked out of the room following the children behind. "Yea?" "Come with me. The first lesson is the one from yesterday." He replied. "Huh? Follow you where?" He pulled my arm to the break room and sat me down on the couch. He sits down beside me and said "for informations about being an orderly, the children will call you Ms. (Y/L/N). Alright?" I nodded and he continues. "Alright. Moving on to the rules. Number 1 no eating in your room. Number 2 no wandering around the halls after 12 midnight. Number 3 no helping the children with their powers. Number 4 obey all instructions given by Dr Brenner. And lastly, number 5. No relationships. But who the fuck cares if we're in a relationship. Lets just keep it a secret ok darling?" He said as he whispers the last sentence. "Yes" I replied. "Lets go back to the rainbow room. We have nothing to do with the kids today." He smiles and takes my hand.

While walking down the hallway, we passed by the infirmary, and I spotted Nurse Elrod. I suddenly remembered the time that her body got close to Henry. Henry and I reached the rainbow room and went to stand behind. My mind starts to wonder about Nurse Elrod again. What if she starts to get closer to Henry again? What if Henry chooses her and not me one day? Another orderly came in the room and looked at the both of us. He looked at me and smiled. I wanted to be nice so I smiled back. It looked like Henry noticed because he turns to me and turns to the orderly. "(Y/N) dont be fucking with me right now" he whispers looking down. "What do you mean?" I tilted my head down as my head turns to him. A child went in the room and walked to the drawing table. "That guy right there. His Daniel. Just letting you know" he whispers back. "Ohh I get it. Mr Jealous" "shut up (Y/N). Or else I'll spend more time with Nurse Elrod." He continued. I stayed quiet and looked away from him. He smirked and said "But I'll not. Only if you dont talk to that guy. If he talks to you and does something similar to my actions that I do to you, walk away. And if you talk back to him and do the same.." I looked back at him and raised an eyebrow. "There will be consequences. Do you understand sweetheart?" "W-what do you mean about consequences?" He smirks and said "you'll find out if you do it" I blush and faced infront. He then sighs and said "I'm so tired"  I reached my hand to his head and patted it gently. "Dont worry. You can rest later" I smiled and continued "we can also cuddle, talk and read stories to each other since we're sharing a room" He looks at me and smiles "I would love that"

Time past

"Lets go to the break room. I'm sick and tired of standing here" I said. "Just 5 more mins." Henry replied. I hummed in response. I looked at the time and said "7:54.. that means 7:59 we go back to our rooms or go to the break room. Right?" He nods. Henry then sighs and said "or why dont we just go now?" "What makes you think that?" I replied. He looks at Daniel then turns back at me. "Ohh I get it. Ok lets go" I smiled and he grabs my hand and quickly walks out the door pulling me. "Hey Henry slow down please. Where are we going?" "Oh we're just going to our room. There are no camaras so we'll be fine"

We went in our room and shut the door. "Im sorry Im just tired and I want to rest for awhile." He walks to the bed while holding my hand. We climbed on it and sat down. "I know theres 2 beds but can you sleep here with me? Just for 1 night I promise." I smiled and hugged his neck. He lays down to my thighs. My hand combed his hair while he closes his eyes. "You can always ask me if you want me to sleep here with you" I said, lowering my head down to kiss his forehead.

I stared at him, admiring his beauty. "I'm glad we're sharing a room." He mumbles as I wrapped my arms around him. "Ive been planning a map to escape hawkins lab. But not escaping by myself, I'm bringing you and Eleven." He said. "You were?" I replied while caressing his cheeks. "Mhm. But for now, lets just enjoy each other's presence." I smiled and lean back.

"Hey (Y/N)?" He said while opening his eyes. "Yes bae" I said as if I was talking to a baby. "I have something to tell you." "Oh what is it Henry?" "Uhm.. I'm.. uh.. remember Dr Brenner said that 001 doesnt exist?" I nodded slowly. "Well.. Im him." "H-huh? What do you mean? No your not"

"(Y/N).. I am 001."
