Chap 12

Why am I here? Did I passed out? It was a dream? How did I even ended up over here? Thoughts run through my mind as I sit up. Nurse Elrod was at the counter. I got up and walked over to her. "Nurse Elrod? What happened?"
"Oh Ms. (L/N), your awake! You've been in here for only 1 day. Peter came here with you in his arms, saying that you passed out and if your asking me how, it is because you knocked onto something" I looked at her, confused. "Oh alright, can I leave now?" She nods and I made my way out.

I spot Henry walking to the rainbow room, as I caught up to him. "Henry" he looked at me with a shock on his face. "(Y/N). Are you alright now?"
"Yea but, please tell me whats going on" He looks infront again as he speaks. "Ok lets go" he pulls me into a different route as we went into the same storage that we... anyways,

"Lets sit down on the floor" he said. We sat down as I start to wonder what had happened before I 'passed' out. "I believe Nurse Elrod had told you that you knocked onto something that made you unconscious. But thats not the real reason. The real reason is, I used my powers on you to make you go back in the past. I believe you saw 008 right?" I nodded. "But how the fuck did we became close? How are we suddenly in a.. relationship?"
"(Y/N). We became close because of the hug. The hug I gave you in the dream. I do that when I feel comfortable around a person. I know it sounds pathetic but you've been in this lab for years and never planned to escape. 008 was eager to escape and left her friends behind."
"But.. Henry, why are we in a relationship?" He smiles and continues, "reason being is, when I was 12, I wanted to help us escape and live a normal life. I thought that maybe we can go on seperate ways but I didnt want it to be like that. So I stayed here, in the lab with you. When I became 16, this feeling in my chest felt weird. Whenever I'm around you, my heart beats fast and I get nervous. When we're having our free time, I couldnt get my eyes off of you. So 1 year had gone by and I still had that feeling. I know what it was so I waited a few days to confess. And that one day finally came.

(Flashback)

Henry's POV:

"009?" I walked towards her in the rainbow room. "What is it?" I signaled her to keep quiet as I continued on, "I dont really know how to say this but, I think I like you, 009. Not in a friendly way.. I hope you understand." (Y/N) looked at me as if she escaped to the outside world. "Well.. uh.. when?"
"Since I was 16, at first I thought it was nothing but a silly feeling. Eventually, I realized that the feeling was getting stronger." (Y/N) adds on, saying, "I like you too 001. Ever since I was 15" she smiles. We both stared at each other's eyes before 1 of us spoke. "We havent been practicing lately, can I come to your room tonight?" She nods and hugged me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer. "Alright, I'll see you later then. I love you" I heard her whisper the last sentence. "I love you too, 009"

End of flashback

(Y/N)'s POV

"So that's why we're in a relationship now. Do you understand (Y/N?)" He asked gently. I Nodded my head while moving closer to him. I laid my head on his shoulder while taking his hand in mine. "Do you not like 008 anymore?"
"That eager hoe that escapes without us? Maybe" I giggled and continued "let me see your wrist tattoo" he gave me the other wrist and I pulled up his sleeves. "Do you hate this tattoo?"
"I mean its a number and its tattooed on me, which means I'm a number. So yes I do hate it" I nod and move down to lay on his thigh. "I'm tired can you stay here with me?" I fiddled with his white pants. "I cant love. I have to help Dr Brenner with some things in the staff room. And you have to watch over the kids in the rainbow room" I groaned as I got up. I spread his legs and sat between them, while resting my head on his chest. "Since we have 20 minutes. You can rest. I'll wake you up ok?" I nodded and felt my heavy eyes closing. He caresses my hair while humming a song to me. "If your parents, especially your dad doesnt love you that much, I'll do it. So its alright to have trauma as a dream. If you dont want them, you can think of positive thoughts.. with me" he whispers in my ear as I felt arms wrapped around me.

"(Y/N)? Love its time to wake up." I felt Henry gently shaking me awake. "5 more minutes" I mumbled in his chest. "Darling lets go we cant let Dr Brenner realize that we're missing. He already knows 008 went missing, and is hunting her down when you were 14 and when I was 15."
"Oh.. Can I ask you a few more questions later at night?" I looked up at his eyes. He smiles while caressing my hair. "Of course sweetheart. Now lets go" He helped me get up as he open the door, letting me go out first.

Once we are in seperate directions, I went to my spot and looked at the children. I spot Eleven walking up to me. "009? Do I still call you that?"

"Mm... I heard Nurse Elrod calling me Ms. (L/N) so, I think you can call me that" she nods then continues, "I used my powers to locate where you and Mr Ballard were. And you mentioned about... someone called, 008?"

"Oh, Eleven. You dont have to know about her alright? Lets just say that shes been taken care of" she just nods and went back to what she was doing.

.    At         .       Night      .

"So, Eleven overheard our conversation in the storage. She said that, I mentioned something about 008. But I replied to her that 008 was been taken care of" I sat on my bed that was next to Henry's. "But how did she overhear it?"

"Through her mind" He nods while walking to his bed. "Is there any other informations that you would like to share? Like how did I had that dream? Did you explain that but in my mind? Did you travel in my mind?" My mind full of questions. "I cant excatly travel to your mind, but I had a small sensation that my powers were still in control. But it last for 20 minutes.  So I used that 20 minutes to explain our past in your head. Do you understand?" I slightly tilt my head to the side as I continued questioning, "powers?  .. oh yea! But what do you mean 'it last for 20 minutes?' " He then sighs and said "(Y/N)... come here." I shifted and was now sitting on his bed. "Look at my neck at the right"

"What is that?"

"Its a soteria."

"What does it do?" I touched it gently. "It weakens me and it also tracks me" I nodded slowly while saying, "so that means, when you escape, it can track you?" Henry looks up at me and said, "Dr Brenner. Can track me."

"Why did he put the soteria in your neck?"

"It is because he cant control me. And to add on, he cant control you and Eleven too. Which is why in 5 days, I need one of you to let that thing out of my neck. Dr Brenner didnt put that thing in you because you recently moved up to being an orderly" I stared at his neck, not being able to say anything. "I know this is too much to say, but lets just continue our duties. Actually it doesnt have to be 5 days. It can be 3 days, 9 days or even 2 days. Its actually when my plan is ready then we can all leave. I can take care of you and Eleven at my old house. We can buy new clothes and food. Does it sound alright?" I nodded and laid my head on his chest.

He wrapped his arms around me. "Leave all that stress out of your head ok my love? Leave all that to me. I promise, when we get out of here, you'll be even more happy when you make new friends. Especially when Eleven does. I also want to thank you for staying in the lab even though 008 left. Thank you for coming into my life and making my life better then before. Your not useless. If your thinking that" I shut my eyes as I listen to his voice. "Goodnight and I love you, (Y/N). Always remember that alright?" I mumble a yes in his chest and felt a hand patting my head gently. "Go to sleep now" he whispers.

After awhile,  I soon felt my eyes getting heavy. And just like that, I passed out.
