The Breeze of Karma

There is no way out seojin-ssi he said sweetly which made me more terrified. The sight of the room petrified me. Scary and brutal painting were hang on the wall. There were may weapons like guns, swords and whips. He took one of the whips and started hitting me with it. It was so painful I cried in pain. He stopped only when I was full of scars. My whole body was hurting it felt like I was going to die in any second.

He came closer to me and started to rub my hair.

"Seojin I'm still thinking of ways to kill you do you have a suggestion."

"You jerk" I screamed at him and spat at his face. That made him so angry that he pushed me hard to the ground. I screamed  in pain, my scars were hurting worst when I hit the ground.

"Ahh" he said and a mischievous grin was spreading in his face. "Freeze to death my seojin I love you."

He pushed a button multiple times and everything went cold.

"W-what did you do" I struggled to say the words because it was freezing. He smiled at me and left the room. I saw a clock on the wall it said 7:45pm

I was shivering uncontrollably it's been hours my body felt numb like I'm turning to ice. This is probably the karma for what I did to everyone. The breeze of karma that I deserve. The clock on the wall now says 9:25pm. I guess this is the time of my death.

"Dr. Ha"

"Yes Sec. Do"

"Have you seen miss cheon. I called her many times but she didn't answer"

"She has a meeting tonight, didn't you know? you're her secretary."

"There's no meeting schedule for miss Cheon tonight"

"Maybe she had a surprise meeting and had to go without informing you"

"But all meeting invitations are sent to me. There's no meeting for her tonight.
She usually asks me all the information about a certain company before she accepts invitations."

"I'll try to call her"

"Ok"

Seven missed calls already and she still ain't answering. I have a bad feeling about this. I went to check if her phone tracker was on and it was. I checked the location and saw she's on a villa. This location is familiar isn't this Joo dan tae's villa? What! I took my car keys and drove as fast as I could. Anger and hatred is running through my vains. How can she go on with her affair in a time like this? I thought she was finally changing.

I arrived on the villa her car was parked there. I rushed inside and saw no one was in the living room. So I checked the rooms and still no one was there. I went back to the living room and noticed seojin's phone was in the coffee table and her bag was on  the sofa. Why isn't she here when all of her stuff is? I sat on the sofa could she have left with dan tae or something bad had happened to her. Through desperation my eyes fell on a book shelf and noticed a book was missing. I went closer to see there was a button in the gap.

I pushed the button and book shelf opened into a secret room. The room was so cold it gave me shivers.

"Seojin-a?"

My eyes fell into a corner and saw an unconscious woman lying on the floor.

"Seojin-a what happened to you?"

I carried her and rushed her outside. She looked numb and weak. Scars was visible in parts of her body. I pleaded for her to wake up. But she was still unconscious when we arrived in the hospital.
