A Mother's Pain

I opened my eyes slowly at first my vision was blurry but it went back to normal after a few seconds. I moved my fingers and toes and tilted my head down. I saw Ha yoon chul fast asleep in a couch. He looks so cute. The sight of him brings warmth to my system.

"Ha yoon chul" I called him quietly I didn't think that would awaken him but he immediately woke up.

"Seojin-a you're finally awake" running up to me . You made me so worried. Are you ok?what are you feeling."

"I'm fine, don't worry"

"Do you want something?water?food?"

"Both"

He gave me water and ramen.

"Sorry seojin but they only have ramen left in the cafeteria. I know you don't eat them if you want I can go out and get you something else."

"No don't bother. When I was kid I loved ramen so much, I said I would have them for my last supper. My dad always scoled me for eating it he says it's bad for my voice. That's why I stopped eating ramen and other delicious foods. Come to think of it, it's been years since the last time I ate my favorite foods or anything truly delicious." I said trying to hide the sadness in my voice.

"Yeah you always look like your about to drown in jealousy when you see us eat foods you cant."he said while laughing. That made me feel ease. "Well then get well easily I'll get you every food you want we'll eat them together" he added

"I gave him a grin. Eating with him happily is one of the most saurel moments of my life. It's very rare."

"I started to eat my food and I can't help but feel goosebumps. It was delicious this simple ramen taste a million times better than expensive food in restaurants."

"Joo dan tae was arrested earlier today. He will get judged for this in the same trial for seol-ah's case."

"I thought it was the end of me. I thought I would freeze to death. How was I saved?"

"Sec. Do told me you didn't have a meeting last night. You weren't answering our calls so I checked your phone tracker. I immediately identified the location Joo dan tae's villa. I-I thought you were continuing your affair with him so I came directly to confront you. When I arrived I saw your belongings in the living room. I checked the whole villa but you weren't there. I noticed that there was a missing book on his locker. I came closer and saw that there was a button. I pushed it and it led me to that room. I saw you unconscious on the floor and took you to the hospital."

"Thank you for saving me"

"Of course you mean a lot to me"

After everything I've done it truly amazes me how you still care. I'm really,really sorry yoon chul for everything. For breaking us and hurting you for that jerk. I was so foolish and blind. And I'm only realizing this now that I'm at my worst.

I guess it's not too late.

T-to fix us

We weren't supposed to be something in the first place. I stole you from your first love only to torment you.(even though I still have feeling for him well I never lost it he deserves someone so much better than me)

F-forget what I said if you want more ramen they still have a few he said trying to change the subject.

I'm fine with this thank you.
(Maybe we can still fix this but I know it will never feel right.)
