I sigh. Another Royal ball. This is the third one this month. The only difference is the dauntless kingdom is hosting it.Which also means loud music and dancing.The Royal ball is something the people in the royal court hold. Each faction takes turns hosting them.And each royal member has to attend. We the Abnegation kingdom held the last one.Let me introduce my self. My name is Princess Tris. Yes we Abnegation are supposed to have selfless names. Well I decided to shorten my name. I am the princess of Abnegation."dear are you ready." My mother asks politly. I give a small smile and nod. My mother places my tiara on my blonde hair. I am short so she can place my tiara on my head with out me bending down."the carriage is awaiting." Mother says softly. I nod again and head out the door. (If you didn't notice the whole outfit is in pic.) "May I open the door, princess." My footman Finely asks."No Finely. Please call me Tris. And have a break go to your family." I say politly."but princess Tris this is my job, I can't loose it." He says. "No finely. Your fine. you can keep the job I just meant take the rest of the night off. And your family can come to the ball if you'd like I can arrange a carriage." I say."thank you princess but we can't go. My wife is pregnant. And my children are sleeping." Finely says. "Well then. Give your family grants for me." I say."yes princess." He says. I hop in side careful to not mess my dress up. We head off towards the dauntless kingdom."Sis. Why didn't the footman open the door for you." My older brother Caleb asks. "Well Caleb if you must know. I don't like people serving me. I may be a princess but other people shouldn't be treated with less respect because I'm a princess. I am just a person. And so are others." I say calmly looking into his eyes."you look lovely dear." My father says."and I respect your decisions." He says. I nod and politly smile."thank you father. My ladies helped me pick it out." I say. "So dear how are the new ladies." Mother asks."they are absolutely lovly. Nothing but great respect from me." I say.The rest of the trip is silent.

We reach our destination. The dauntless castle.Someone opens the carriage doors and helps me out.I nod and say thank you."no problem princess." He says."no don't call me princess.call me tris." I say. "Okay. Tris." He says putting more emphasis on the tris part."thank you." I say. We walk into the castle. When I walk in I'm completely shocked. There are people in elegant dresses,of different colors. People are slow dancing. I see an empty table and I walk and go sit at the table while my mother and father dance and my brother mingles. I smile and admire the different colors in the room. "Beautiful isn't it." A deep voice says."stunning." I say flatly."so introduce your self. Princess." He says. "Please. Don't call me Princess. Just call me Tris.And I'm the princess of Abnegation" I say. "Of course. Tris of abnegation." He says."now. Since I introduced myself. Now you must introduce your self."I say standing to face him."I'm Prince four. Prince of Dauntless." He says. I courtesy. "Well Prince four of Dauntless it was a pleasure having words with you,but it seems your lovly princess is waiting for you." I say.He chuckles and motions for the girl to come over.I knowtice she is wearing a lime green ball dress that hugs her body.Her crown is knowticable also. It is gold with diamonds,and big. My crown is nothing compared to hers.when she reaches us she loops her arms through Four's. "Hello I'm princess Lauren of Amity."She says. "I'm princess Tris of abnegation." I say. She unloops her arm from Four's and curtsies in front of me.I wave her off."no no. None of that. Don't treat me like a royal. I would highly appreciate that." I say."of course. You haven't heard. Your corination is coming up that's what the party is for." She says. "No I haven't. I always thought my brother would take the throne." I say."why" four asks."well if you must know. That means more people to wait on me. I have to take taxes and all the many things unmarried queens do." I say."Don't worry hun. You will make an amazing queen." My mother says behind me."you are so selfless. That is why you are next to take the throne. Because you are so selfless that you don't want the position." She says."so who are your friends." She asks. "Mother this is Prince four of dauntless,and his princess Lauren of Amity." I say. "Nice to meet you your highness." Lauren says. Some one taps my shoulder. I turn around and see a boy my age. He is tan with black hair and brown eyes. "Yes." I say politly. "Hello I'm Prince Uriah of Dauntless. I m Four's step brother. Would you like to dance." He says "of course I would be honored." I say taking his hand.

The ball is over I met many new people. Zeke, uriah, and four,are step brothers and are princes of dauntless. Lauren is Princess of amity. Christina of candor. Will of erudite.me of Abnegation. And al soldier of candor. I had an amazing time.
