MICHELLE SAT ON THE COUCH watching a show with Morgan.
Amy had gone to the restroom, leaving Michelle alone with Morgan. The older girl stood up, looking at the baby.
"I wish you were my sister, Michelle." Morgan said. "But I'm stuck with Cory and Eric."
Michelle looked up at the blonde girl and smiled.
"But then if you were my sister, I would be related to Shawn. He's nearly as bad as Cory!" Morgan exclaimed, scrunching her nose up. "Maybe I'll adopt you and then we can just be related to each other."
Amy, who had only heard the last bit, laughed softly. "I'm not to sure Shawn would let you adopt his sister, Morgan."
"I'll just trade Cory." Morgan shrugged, waving it off.
Amy shook her head, picking up the baby. "How about a snack?"
Morgan jumped off the couch, running towards the kitchen. Amy stuck Michelle in Morgan's old high chair, snapping the tray on. Grabbing a jar of baby food, she quickly fixed a snack for Morgan. Effortless feeding the baby, she finished scraping the last bit of food into her mouth.
"Do you like to give Shawn a hard time when he feeds you?" Amy asked.
Michelle giggles, clapping her hands. Amy cleaned her up, then turned to Morgan. She gave her daughter a look as she looked at the messy girl.
"Why did you eat like Eric?" Amy asked.
Morgan shrugged, licking her fingers. Amy sighed, and cleaned up the little blonde girl.
"Alright, I've got some work to do at the computer, so Morgan, you and Michelle can watch some TV or play with some of your stuffed toys." Amy explained.
"Okay, mommy." Morgan said, smiling at her.
Sitting on the floor, Morgan handed Michelle a stuffed bunny. "You can have it if you like. I don't want it anymore."
Michelle clapped, holding the bunny on her hand.

The Matthews door was thrown open, and Shawn and Cory ran inside. Shawn tossed his bag onto the couch and he picked Michelle up.
"Hey, munchkin!" He cheered. "How were you? Where you good for Mrs Matthews?"
"Yes, Shawn, she was wonderful, barely made a noise." Amy assures the boy. "She mostly played with Morgan, and she took her food with no fight."
Shawn looked down and gave his sister a look. "Why can't you take food nicely from me?"
Michelle just put her fingers in her mouth, which Shawn quickly took out, scolding her softly.
"Alright, Well Michelle And I should head home." Shawn said, shifting his sister on his hip. "Thanks Mrs Matthews."
"You're welcome Shawn." The woman smiled.
Shawn grabbed his book bag, Michelle's diaper bag and headed out.
"Wait, Michelle you have to give Morgan her bunny back." He said, trying to take the grey animal out of his sisters hands.
"That's okay," Morgan said from her spot on the couch. "Michelle can keep it. She's also my new sister."
"Is she?" Shawn asked.
"Mhm." Morgan nodded. "I'm trading you Cory."
"Whoa, Thanks Morgan." Cory said as he walked into the room.
Shawn chuckled looking at the blonde girl. "Well I think I'll keep my little sister and you can keep Cory."
Morgan sighed dramatically. "But I don't want to keep Cory!"
"I am right here!"
"Well I'm pretty happy with my sister." Shawn said. "But she'll be back tomorrow for you to play with. How does that sound?"
Morgan tilted her head, before nodding. "That works I guess. I'm still stuck with Cory though."
Cory threw his hands up in the air. "I'm going to my room."
Shawn smiled slightly. His head dipped to the side, as Michelle pulled on his shaggy hair.
"Watch the hair, Watch the hair!" Shawn scolded. "What have we talked about Michelle? You can't touch my hair."
Michelle giggled, babbling. Shawn nodded as if he understood her.
Mr Feeny, who was in his yard, could hear Shawn Hunter talking to someone. Looking up, he was shocked to see Shawn was talking to a baby. His sister, Mr Feeny recalled.
"My friend Nickolas tried to stab Lisa Kincaid with a knife. But don't worry it was fake." He was telling the baby. "But Cory got in trouble with Feeny today, he's my teacher. Maybe you'll have him when you go to school. He's tough, but I understand more of what he says then any other teacher. So what did you do with Morgan today?"
The little baby began to babble, and Mr Feeny saw Shawn nodding a long.
"That sounds fun." He smiled. "What's you eat for lunch today?"
The baby babbled some more, and Shawn smiled. "Sounds a lot better then what I had. It was the mystery meat from school. But don't worry, when you go to school, I'll try to back you lunches."
Mr Feeny began to smile as he watched the siblings interact. It wasn't often he saw Shawn Hunter this relaxed. As if finally sensing his gaze, Shawn looked up to see Feeny looking at him.
"Oh, hey, Feeny. How long you been standing there?"
"Long enough to hear you discuss your day with your sister." Mr Feeny answered.
Shawn's face brightened. "Yeah, I, uh, read somewhere that it was good to talk to your baby at a young age, because it helps them when they begin to speak."
"You read a book?" Feeny asked, surprised.
Shawn shrugged. "Well I had to find out somehow on how to take care of a baby."
Mr Feeny paused, looking at the boy. "What about your parents, Mr Hunter? Aren't they there to help?"
"Oh they're there." Shawn agreed, nodding his head. "But they don't help. They like to just sit there and get annoyed when she cries. I figured someone had to take care of her before she starved."
Mr Feeny looked down at the baby, feeling the need to change the subject.
"And what is your name?" He asked.
"She can't actually talk, Mr Feeny." Shawn told him. "She's not even a year old yet."
Mr Feeny sighed. "I was asking you, Mr Hunter."
"Oh! Her names Michelle Elizabeth Hunter." Shawn said proudly. "I gave my mom the idea."
Mr Feeny nodded. "Well it's nice to meet you, Miss Hunter. Hopefully, you turn out different then your brother."
Shawn rolls his eyes playfully, but secretly he was hoping the same.
"Right, well we better get going. I've got homework to do, and you need changed." Shawn said, wrinkling his nose.
As he began walking away, Mr Feeny called out to him.
"Mr Hunter."
"Yeah, Feeny?"
"If there's anything I could do to help you, let me know." Mr Feeny said. "Wouldn't want you to keep falling asleep in my class."
Shawn smiled slightly. "Yeah, I'll save the sleeping for Ms Asher's class."
He turned back around, and Michelle waved to the teacher. Waving back slightly, Mr Feeny smiled at the baby.
