MICHELLE HAD BEEN SITTING IN THE MATTHEWS KITCHEN WITH ERIC, when the door was thrown open and Shawn, Cory, Minkus And Ellis walked in.

"Eric, have you met my good friend Minkus?" Cory questioned.

Eric looked over at the brown haired boy who was looking at him with wide eyes.

"Call my mother."

"What?"

"He's a little nervous, Eric." Shawn shrugged.

"We're gonna take him upstairs now." Cory laughed nervously.

"27842, it's the only Minkus in the book!" He shouted.

They dragged Minkus upstairs, leaving Eric with Michelle.

"That was weird." Eric said. "Hey, Michelle, you wanna see a magic trick?"

Michelle clapped her hands, waiting for Eric to show her the trick. Pulling a coin from his pocket, he showed Michelle. Closing his hand, he brought up to his mouth and swallowed it. Covering her mouth, Eric smiled.

"Hey, uh, Michelle, what's that shiny thing in your hair?" He asked.

He reached over, and Michelle's eyes widened as she saw Eric hold the coin in his hand. Michelle clapped and Eric smiled at her.

"I know, I know, I'm amazing." Eric told the baby. "It took me two months to learn that trick."

A few minutes later, Ellis and Minkus walked down the stairs. Say goodbye two, they left. Soon, Shawn and Cory came down, and Shawn scooped Michelle up.

"Good luck with this, Cor. You're gonna have to do a lot of convincing if you think Feeny's just gonna pick you." Shawn said walking outside with her. "Come on, Munchkin, let's go to the park."

Once they reached the park, Shawn took Michelle over to the swings, and set her in the baby swing.

He had been pushing her for a good minute when a tall woman walked up. She had short length black hair, brown eyes, and a mean face.

"Excuse me, can you two get off the swing so my little Max can get on the swing?" She asked rudely.

"Uh, Sorry ma'am, but we've barely had a turn on it, but we'll be done in a few minutes." Shawn said, his nose twitching as he looked at the woman.

The woman rolled her eyes.

"There's a swing over there you could use." Shawn said.

"Well this is Max's favorite swing." The woman sniffed.

"Is it his or is it yours? Because this swing has the perfect view on all the hot shirtless dudes playing football." Shawn said, scrunching his nose up.

The woman's face turned scarlet, and she walked away, muttering angrily about rude children, and how they would just go to a different park.

Smiling, Shawn turned back to Michelle, who was smiling at her brother. "That was funny, wasn't it? Did you see how red her face got? She was so mad!"

Shawn broke off laughing, and Michelle, always one to copy her brother, began laughing as well. Shawn smiled widely at his sister, awing at her, running her little cheek.

"Michelle, you're so cute." Shawn said happily. "You get that from me, right? Well, I mean obviously, you didn't get it from dad."

Michelle clapped, and Shawn picked her up out of the swing. "Come on, Michelle, let's go to something else, I'm tired of seeing shirtless people play football."

Once they reached home, Michelle was sound asleep against Shawn's shoulder, small baby snores coming from her.

Smiling at the baby, he shifted her slightly so he wouldn't drop her. His smile dropped though when he entered his trailer. He looked at the couch and saw his dad passed out drunk. Sighing, Shawn carried Michelle to her crib, and laid her down. He walked back out to the couch, and began to clean up the bottles. Shaking his head he stared at his dad.

This was the second time this week he's had to clean up after his dad. Hopefully, he'd be able to clean his act up by the time Michelle got older. But Shawn knew that was wistful thinking. Once he finished, he headed to bed.

Waking up the next morning, he turned his bleary eyes to look at the crib and jumped up when he saw it empty. Throwing himself on the floor, he scrambled up and nearly broke his neck trying to get to the living room. He flinched when his dad turned to him, and he saw Chet holding Michelle.

"Hey, Shawnie." Chef smiled. "I heard little Michelle this morning and thought we'd watch some TV. Hope thats okay with you."

Shawn nodded slightly, though he was miffed. Chet has shown no interest in Michelle before, and now he was interested in her? Michelle looked up at Michelle and reached her arms up. Shawn quickly scooped her up, and began taking her to the kitchen, but Chet stopped him again.

"I already fed her." Chet said.

Shawn stopped, looking skeptically at him. "What did you give her?"

"Some canned peaches and a bottle."

Shawn paused, and nodded slowly. "Alright, uh, I'm going to the Matthews."

"Alright, bye you two have fun."

Shawn walked out with wide eyes. He had the same wide eyed look reaching the Matthews.

"What's with the look, Mr Hunter?"

Turning to look over the fence, Shawn saw Mr Feeny looking at him. "Hmm? Oh, it's just, my dad took care of Michelle this morning."

"Isn't that a good thing?"

Shawn shrugged. "I thought I would be glad that they would help, but I'm not. I've been taking care of her for almost a year. I know that's not very long, but ever since she was born I've been taking care of her. My dad's never shown any interest in her before!"

Mr Feeny began to think over what Shawn was saying. Looking at the boys face, Mr Feeny said, "Mr Hunter, could it be possible that your jealous that Michelle has other people that aren't you to take care of her?"

Shawn scoffed. "Pfft, no. I let the Matthews take care of her."

"But you don't seem to like that very much. Hence when you brought her to school with you."

Shawn's face turned scarlet as he shook his head. "I'm not jealous of the other people. It's just....she's my sister."

"But she's your fathers daughter."

Shawn rolled his eyes. "He should act like it then."

"But you get jealous when he acts like it." Mr Feeny said.

"No I don't!" Shawn complained, stomping his foot. "I'm not jealous!"

Mr Feeny shook his head and watched as Shawn stomped into the Matthews home. Shaking his head, he walked into his own house, thinking over everything Shawn Hunter has been telling him of his home life and baby sister.
