SHAWN WAS EXTRA CLINGY with Michelle, and it was to the point where he had a baby carrier on his back to carry her.
It was funny for Cory to watch, and Michelle was loving it. They had only seen the baby this happy a handful of times, and it made them just as happy as her to see Michelle smile that big.
"And now it's time for the results for the ninth race." Cory and Shawn stood up excitedly, though Shawn was careful with Michelle on his back. Shawn hurriedly wrote down the numbers, and then let out an excited yell.
"What? What?" Cory asked, his hands covering his ears.
"We won!"
"How much?"
"This times this!"
Cory quickly grabbed the calculator, and put the numbers in, and his eyes widened even more.
"99 bucks!" He yelled.
The two let out even louder yells, and Amy rushed in. "What is the matter?"
"We won!"
"He means the flyers." He interrupted. "Sudden death overtime goal. Very exciting."
"Boy, you act like you had money on the game."
Shawn gave a tight smile, listing to Cory as he almost blew it. After Amy walked away, they let out sighs of relief, and then did their handshake, and all the bouncing around made Michelle laugh harder.
After they finished, Eric walked in, and said, "Come here, guys. Now, would this bother you? Alright, your name is Brianna Henshaw, and you're the best looking girl in school. So, one day, you accidentally see me stumble into your best friend, Debbie, and inadvertently French kiss her. Now you won't go out with me." Eric got closer to Shawn, making him back up. "Why won't you go out with me!?"
"I'm a little bit country, you're a little bit rock-and-roll."
Eric shook his head, and stood up, walking back to the island, listening as Cory gave him advice.

It was three days later, and Shawn was still never too far away from Michelle.
He was wearing her on his front in the baby carrier he wore, and everyone around him was amused. It wasn't too sure if it was because it was a small eleven year old wearing a baby, or because it was Shawn who was wearing her.
"Why are you still wearing Michelle?" Eric asked, looking at the two confused.
"Shawn has attachment issues." Cory explained.
Shawn rolled his eyes. "I do not."
"You do too." Cory said, pointing at him.
Shawn rolled his eyes, and sat down with her. Michelle kicked her legs, smiling and making grabby hands at Cory. Shawn wrapped his hands around his sister, holding closer as if that were possible.
"Shawn, you gotta relax man." He said. "What's been up with you lately? You've been even more attached to her then usual."
Shawn shifted, and mumbled, "Nothing."
Cory rolled his eyes, turning to his friend. "Yeah. Right. I totally believe you."
Shawn rolled his eyes again. "I just...it...my dad took Michelle for a whole day and wouldn't let me help."
Cory sat up a bit more, sort of knowing how Shawn felt about his Dad. He had heard Shawn make jokes about how bad his Dad was, and it made him a bit nervous that Shawn and Michelle had to go home to that.
"So, what? He just, refused to hand her to you?" He asked.
Shawn nodded, his jaw clenching. "He just...I don't know why he cares now."
Cory nodded slowly. He didn't do too well with comforting other people. Even if it was Shawn.
"I—"
"But it's fine though." Shawn ground out. "'She's his daughter, so he'll take care of her'."
Cory watched his friend cautiously, waiting to see if he would blow up. He was surprised though, when Shawn took a deep breath, and unclenches his jaw.
"I'm fine." He shrugged off. "I'm perfectly fine."
Cory nodded slowly, confused on where the blow up went. He was glad though that he wouldn't have to clean up any mess. And as Cory studied his friend, he realized that the only reason he was calming down, was because of Michelle.
"So!" Shawn said, smiling widely. "What do you want to do?"
"Uh...I don't know." Cory shrugged.
Shawn sighed, leaning his head on top of his sisters, giving quiet sigh. "What if we—"
"We have your sister, Shawn." Cory reminded.
Shawn deflated. "Oh, yeah. What if we—"
"We have your sister, Shawn." Cory repeated.
Shawn deflated again, and he mumbled something under his breath.
"Well, that cancels out most of my plans." Shawn said, after lifting his head up off his sisters.
Cory rolled his eyes fondly. Of course, Shawn wanted to do non-legal things.
"Come on, we can go play baseball or something." Cory said. "We can roll the ball back and forth to Michelle."
Shawn nodded, and the three kids went out back and Cory helped take Michelle out of the baby carrier. They set her down, and sat down in a triangle.
Twenty minutes after that, Cory grumbled, "I love Michelle. I really do. But this is boring."
Shawn nodded, lazily rolling the ball to Cory, who rolled it back to Michelle. Michelle clapped her hands, happy that the two were playing with her.
Seeing that, Shawn felt his stomach twist, feeling bad for being so annoyed with having to play with her. Cory felt bad as well. Yeah, they were older and wanted to do fun things, but what would it hurt for them to play with Michelle? I mean, Shawn has to take care of her all the time, what would it hurt Cory to play with her as well?
The two boys tried to appear a little more excited while playing with her.
"Good job, Michelle!" Shawn clapped when she rolled the ball to him.
Michelle clapped too, and Cory gave her a smile. By the time they were done playing, Shawn put her back into the baby carrier.
"You know, you look ridiculous in that thing." Cory told his friend.
Shawn scoffed. "Thanks."
Cory gave him a thumbs up.
"See ya, Shawn!"
"See ya, Cor!"
"See ya, Michelle!"
"Bye!"
"Another knew word?"
"Every day!"
"Not my name!"
"Get over it!"
