Untethered and floating

An empty void reflecting

On the shiny surface

Waiting for a catharsis

They lay their glances plainly

Orbs devoid of judgement or empathy

Still even then

Answers will bubble from the mouth again

A lone passenger

On a trip into the ether

Disembodied fingers pulling and grasping

To self-inflicted gravity succumbing

And falling

         And falling

                  And falling

Into nothingness
