Untethered and floating
An empty void reflecting
On the shiny surface
Waiting for a catharsis
They lay their glances plainly
Orbs devoid of judgement or empathy
Still even then
Answers will bubble from the mouth again
A lone passenger
On a trip into the ether
Disembodied fingers pulling and grasping
To self-inflicted gravity succumbing
And falling
And falling
And falling
Into nothingness
