Chapter 20 - The Battle Begins

Dear Diary,

"I can't do this anymore. Not with all the deaths about to happen."

"Hey, it'll all be over soon."

"Yeah, I know, but... I'm not ready." I whisper the last part.

We're in the ROR where the Trio come put of the portrait with Neville.

We just sit and wait for Neville to come back through.

I hear footsteps.

Neville comes back through the portrait hole.

"Hey guys, I got a surprise for you," he says.

Then Seamus says, "better not be any more of Aberforth's cooking. Well be lucky if we can digest it."

"Look who's back!"

"Blimey!" says Seamus.

Harry, Ron, and Hermoine come through.

We all clap and cheer for them. They come down the ladder and we give them lots of hugs and welcomes.

"So, says Neville. "What's the fun?"

"There's something hidden in the castle," says Harry. "And we need to find it."

"Well.... what is it?"

"We don't know."

"Where is it?" says Dean.

"We don't know that either. I realize that's not much to go on."

"That's nothing to go on," says Seamus, and I look at him disapprovingly.

We sit in silence for a moment.

"It'll be small, easily concealed, anyone any ideas? It might have something to do with Ravenclaw."

"Well, there's Rowena Ravenclaw's lost diadem," says Luna, suddenly.

Everyone looks at her like she's loopy.

"The lost diadem of Ravenclaw? Hasn't anyone heard of it? It's quite famous."

"Yes, but it's lost. For centuries now. There's not a person alive who's seen it." says Cho Chang.

"Excuse me but could someone tell me what a bloody diadem is?" says Ron.

"Like a crown. Tiara,or something." says Cho.

Then Ginny comes in.

"Harry."

"Hi there."

"Six months she has no seen me, and it's like I'm Frankie First-year. I'm only her brother," says Ron.

"She's got a lot of those. There's only one Harry though."

"Shut up Seamus," mutters Ron.

We get called to an assembly, so the Trio dress up in robes and try to disguise themselves to look like normal Gryffindors.

We march down the staircases and file ourselves into the hall.
