So uh, this chapter is just going to be a whole lot of flash backs and shots of April growing up. It's just a bit of relief before the last chapter. Enjoy! ♡

"Did you bring the camera?"

"Sure did."

We're walking through one of the big parks in London, and it's full of daffodils.

It's just perfect.

I kneel down and hold April so she's leaning back on my knees.

Seamus gets low and takes a photo.

I think I remember seeing a photo with my real mum and Caitlin in the park surrounded in daffodils, so that's why I said we should do this.

It's quite a special thing to do.

Once Seamus has the picture, we stand up and I put April back in the pram.

She's just such a good girl.

Her hair is starting to grow, and it's so fluffy and tufty.

It's so cute, watching the human you created growing up.

End of flashback

Time skip to when she's about 6

We have a son now.

His name is Frankie James Finnigan.

He's 4.

I go over to April to tie her shoes up.

She doesn't talk very much.

"You're a lot like your Aunty, aren't you?" I say.

She just sucks her thumb.

I go over to Frankie after.

He's loud.

Louder than April, anyway.

I think the younger child is always going to be louder and more confident.

April is very smart. She already knows how to recite the alphabet, she can say the numbers up to about 50; as a 6 year old, she is ahead.

She is amazing at writing too.

Oh, I just want to write down everything about her.

I forgot something too.

She has copper-brown colour hair.

April 2014

The day after she turns 7, we're just sitting outside, enjoying the sunshine, no wind, when April makes some dead maple leaves on the ground move with her mind.

All she does is look at them and they move in a whirlwind form, just like they do in Autumn.

I smiled. I knew she would be able to do it.

I get a letter from Hogwarts a few years later.

Dear The parents of April Finnigan,

Your child has been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy.

However, she will be needing to go at age 10, because she is very intelligent and we believe she is socially developed enough to.

Thank you. There is a list attached with all the supplies she will need.

Sincerely yours,

Minerva McGonagall.

I show the letter to Seamus, and he thinks it's fine.

"Well, okay, we need to go to Diagon Alley!"

April is 10 now.

I felt special when I was ten.

Huh.

I liked reading so much I got a cake shaped like a book and it said "Chapter 10."

I sigh.

We Floo to Diagon Alley.

We get April some robes and a pet owl.

It's a tawny owl, like the one I had.

With browny-gold feathers.

April decides to call her Honey.

Time skip to the first of September

It's now 19 years later. (Heuheuheuheuheuheuheh)

We walk up to the barrier, and April looks so nervous.

I am too.

Seamus is standing behind April and I with Frankie.

They look so alike, but with a tinge of my personality he's different.

"I wonder how she's going? It's probably up to the sorting now." says Seamus.

"Yeah." I say.

"I hope she's a Gryffindor." says Frankie.

"Well, she could very well be in Ravenclaw. She's very bright." I say.

"Whatever she's in, she'll be fine." says Seamus.

I keep eating my roast.

We're around the dinner table, which has one spot empty.

I'm so used to looking at her, munching quietly on her food.

It's good that she doesn't talk much, so she can just enjoy her own little world.

I tuck Frankie into bed. He's got navy sheets and a rocket ship duvet.

He's just such a cool kid.

I wonder what kind of teenager he'll be like?

I guess I'll just have to find out.

I'm a bit worried about April though. She could be bullied for no reason too.

No, I should stop worrying. She'll be fine.

I go to my bedroom to put my pyjamas on.

It's only half past 7 but Seamus and I like to just sit and talk before we go to bed.

Seamus is sitting on the couch, staring at his hands.

I sit next to him.

He kisses me on the cheek.

It's been a while since he displayed affection towards me.

So...

Oh, Jesus, I'm so nervous about the last chapter. Can you guys forgive me for what happens? I'm so so so sorry.

At least there's a sequel so you won't be sad that it's over.

It'll never be over.

Trust me.

Okay...!
